The first thing I noticed was the size of these bookshelf speakers, much larger than I would have thought from the Pictures online! I paired these speakers with a PSB Subwoofer, and have them BI-wired into an Onkyo integrated amp. Excellent sound and value at a reasonable price, the sound is more detailed than more expensive DCM Speakers I used to own. I have them positioned on 32 inch monitor stands filled with sand, and these speakers shine, and have brought new life to my CD and LP collections, especially with music that is open and breathes, bands like Porcupine Tree, Dada, and Pink Floyd sound better through these speakers than what I've heard in the past, and they hold their own with heavier music such as Tool, Godsmack, and Van Halen, without wearing on your ears. The only drawback with these speakers was the vague instruction manual from PSB, and getting specific questions answered about BI-wiring these speakers, and what to do with included jumpers, seems to be a few different opinions on how this is all configured, and I got different advice from several tech people on how to wire these, and ended up going with the advice that made most sense, although I'm no Audio engineer.
Pros: Great sound, excellent price for the quality, Bi -Amp, Bi- WIre ready. Paired with a PSB Sub, they sound amazing!
Cons: Instruction Manual vague, and tech support gave me a few different ideas for optimal sound when BI-Wiring which furthered my confusion.
