Our take on the Sound Ordnance™ Bass Bunker

Sound Ordnance's rugged Bass Bunker enclosures come built to last and ready to help your sub deliver real low-frequency firepower. These unloaded boxes feature high-grade, medium-density fiberboard construction, with sealed inner braces that help combat resonance by reducing vibrations. Rounded outside corners and recessed panels allow them to fit into more vehicles, while tough black carpeting defends against incoming nicks and scratches. Bass Bunkers make a great solution when building your own box is not an option.

The BB12-125S sealed enclosure holds one 12" subwoofer and offers an internal volume of 1.27 cubic feet. Just add the right sub, amp, and wiring, then mount the enclosure securely, and you're ready to hit the road with some real bass artillery in your arsenal.

Warning: This enclosure does not include mounting hardware. If you're buying a sub from us, please check "What's in the Box?" to see if screws are included. If not, you should have an assortment of heavy-duty wood screws on hand for the installation.

Internal Box Volume: The enclosure has 1.27 cubic feet of airspace.

Terminals: The BB12-125S is equipped with a pair of spring-post speaker terminals mounted in the rear panel. The spring terminals will accept bare wire up to 10 gauge, pin connectors, and single banana plugs, but are spaced too far apart for dual banana plugs. Why did you buy this?

Just what I needed, at the price I needed [ SAMUEL  Apr 25, 2017 ]
Good quality box, with a size that will fit under the rear strut brace in the trunk and be removable when I need the space. [ Mathew  Apr 22, 2017 ]
packaged [ Sean  Mar 29, 2017 ]
I wanted the ported version of this box, but the sub + amp combo was too good to pass up! [ Tyler  Mar 23, 2017 ]
because of the quality of the product [ QUAVADIS  Mar 21, 2017 ]
I chose this box for it's small and sturdy design. [ Luke  Mar 06, 2017 ]
It was part of the bass package that Crutchfield was offering. It was cheaper than buying just the sub and amp separate. [ Paul  Mar 05, 2017 ]
Apart of the package [ Devin  Feb 23, 2017 ]
I had great assistance from a few of your advisors. Neal, Chance, and Troy were beyond helpful. [ Jeffrey Taylor  Feb 21, 2017 ]
Seems like a good package for the price, very positive reviews [ Matthew Kyle  Jan 11, 2017 ]
Have purchased SO products in the past and have been very satisfied. This one was recommended for the 12" JL sub I ordered. [ Charles  Jan 07, 2017 ]
It was recommended to me by a support member. [ Cyndi  Dec 27, 2016 ]
Decided on a sealed box for tight accurate bass, as I am generally used to ported boxes. My taste in music varies when listening to SirusXM : BPM, Hair Nation, Octane, Lithium and the new Turbo channel. These are mostly guitar and kick drum heavy, with a need to hear vocals. I am probably missing out on the boom for the BPM music, but since i mostly listen to rock, I thought to try out a sealed box. I am trying out S/O for the first time. [ Vincent  Dec 04, 2016 ]
It was suggested to me by both Rex and Chuck (Crutchfield Advisors) [ Adam  Nov 16, 2016 ]
I've had Rockford Fosgate products before and been please with the quality every time. [ Anthony  Oct 03, 2016 ]
Loading it with a 12" sub. Sounds great! [ Michael  Aug 09, 2016 ]
Cant build my own box [ Chris  Jul 17, 2016 ]
solid [ JEFF  Mar 15, 2016 ]
It came with one bass package [ Alie  Feb 25, 2016 ]
Part of a package. Great reviews and clean specs. [ Kelly  Feb 09, 2016 ]
Needed an enclosure that matched the recommended sealed volume of my 12" subwoofer. This one seemed like a good choice. [ Joseph  Dec 31, 2015 ]
This went well with my Kicker 12" [ Liam  Dec 28, 2015 ]
Looks to be good construction and worth not having to build it myself. [ Rhett  Dec 14, 2015 ]

I would not recommend it. That box is really far away from the recommended specifications for the subwoofer that while it would play, it will not play like it should. This box will work a lot better with the Rockford Fosgate subwoofer: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_777BB1220V/item.html Feel free to call an advisor on 1-800-324-9695 for a personal recommendation.
