Sound Ordnance™ Bass Bunker
First of all: all you people comparing the sound of this box to a sealed.. stop right there. You can't compare the two. People who are looking for SQ aren't looking for a ported box so what your doing is really just pointless. Now, let's get on to the box. First of all, I gave it 4 stars just because it's not the best sounding box I've ever heard but it is actually just fine for what you're paying for it. I've found the ports are tuned to around 65 hz so this box isn't going to get super loud playing anything under 50. That said, I scored a 138.3 from this box (65hz of course) on 2 Rockford p1 12s on a 500 watt alpine amp. This was in a trunk system with double layer sound deadning. The seats were up too so I could have gained another db or so by putting them down but numbers wise that is what you can expect out of this box. I wouldn't suggest placing any woofers much bigger than what I have because they won't match the airspace inside and they will be underperforming. If your chasing numbers, I'd go with something alittle bigger but if your just looking too add lots of bass.. grab this box it's very solid and good price. Also make sure to grab some female spade connectors if you don't want to solder because they do not come with the box.
Cons: Ports tuned kind of high..
