Our take on the Sound Ordnance™ Bass Bunker

Sound Ordnance's rugged Bass Bunker enclosures come built to last and ready to help your sub deliver real low-frequency firepower. These unloaded boxes feature high-grade, medium-density fiberboard construction, with sealed inner braces that help combat resonance by reducing vibrations. Rounded outside corners and recessed panels allow them to fit into more vehicles, while tough black carpeting defends against incoming nicks and scratches. Bass Bunkers make a great solution when building your own box is not an option.

The BB122-125V ported enclosure holds two 12" subwoofers and offers an internal volume of 1.36 cubic feet per chamber. Its large vents feature rounded inner corners that keep port noise to a minimum for more accurate response. Just add the right subs, amp, and wiring, then mount the enclosure securely, and you're ready to hit the road with some real bass artillery in your arsenal.

Warning: This enclosure does not include mounting hardware. If you're buying a sub from us, please check "What's in the Box?" to see if screws are included. If not, you should have an assortment of heavy-duty wood screws on hand for the installation.

Great box fits like a glove

Internal Box Volume: The enclosure has two separate chambers, each with 1.36 cubic feet of airspace.

Why did you buy this?

Seems to be a good build sturdy. The wire connectors feel a little cheap, I feel like the amount of money they could have been a little higher quality but it gets the job done [ Squire C.  Nov 28, 2016 ]
Needed a good box for the subs [ Michael  Nov 22, 2016 ]
I have two 12" subwoofers in a box which got a little water damage and needed a new box. The specs on this box seem to match what I need for my 2-12" Rockford Fosgate subs. [ fritz  Jul 15, 2016 ]
I have purchased one in the past, it got stolen but, i know is great speaker box. S/O hands down good quality. [ G  Jul 13, 2016 ]
Most highly recommended and it looks very nice and well put together. [ Kierik Sage  Jun 21, 2016 ]

just some subs for the meantime [ Sergio  Apr 17, 2016 ]
Bases on the customer reps research, this showed to be the best box for the subs I was going to use. [ eric  Mar 23, 2016 ]

I'm sure they will and doesn't have preset holes so pattern line up wouldn't be an issue [ Denarius  Apr 28, 2017 ]

It should because I put one in my 2001 corolla and it fit with some space leftover [ Hunter  Mar 22, 2017 ]
Thanks for your question. You can search for "carpet" on the Crutchfield website. Here is a link to the Metra brand carpet rolls. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120TL3015/Metra-Box-Carpet-Black.html There are three different colors available. Hope that helps. [ Kenny  Aug 26, 2016 ]  Staff
yes i have pyle in mine they sound great [ WILLIE  Jun 30, 2016 ]
Yes, perfectly fine. [ DAVID  Jun 29, 2016 ]
I personally own both products. Yes, they can support it! Though the closed box is what I would have preferred. I love this box though, and the speakers are some of the best to date! [ BRANDON  Apr 26, 2016 ]
S/O makes great boxes. They'll definitely handle the vibrations from the type R's. Although this particular model has a volume slightly smaller than recommended, it should still sound great. Other option is the Model BB122-175V. A little more volume so the extreme lows will hit a little harder. [ willie  Apr 25, 2016 ]
For details on fit or installation please contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and give you the details on if this will fit and what you will need for an installation in your vehicle. [ Krissy  Oct 21, 2015 ]  Staff
Sealed box for these speakers. Used a bi passed box and they hit harder in a sealed box. [ DERRICK  Aug 25, 2015 ]
Haven't purchase these items [ TONATIUH  Mar 12, 2015 ]
The box ports are tuned to about 36htz so make sure that the sub can handle frequencies that low and you will get a very nice sound, it is a great box and you can get that loud boomy sound from it. Hope this helped! [ ETHAN  Feb 27, 2015 ]
