Overview

Our take on the Sound Ordnance™ Bass Bunker

Sound Ordnance's rugged Bass Bunker enclosures come built to last and ready to help your speakers deliver real low-frequency firepower. These unloaded boxes feature high-grade, medium-density fiberboard construction, with sealed inner braces that help combat resonance by reducing vibrations. Rounded outside corners and recessed panels allow them to fit into more vehicles, while tough black carpeting defends against incoming nicks and scratches.

The BB692W wedge enclosures are a great alternative if you can't install your 6"x9"s in the factory speaker openings in your car or truck. Each enclosure holds a single 6"x9" speaker and offers an internal volume of 0.29 cubic feet.

Warning: This enclosure does not include mounting hardware. If you're buying a sub from us, please check "What's in the Box?" to see if screws are included. If not, you should have an assortment of heavy-duty wood screws on hand for the installation.

good bass and enclosure construction.

Features

Materials: The Sound Ordnance BB692-W Bass Bunker is two unloaded, wedge-style sealed enclosures, each holding one 6x9 speaker. It is constructed of 3/8" MDF (medium-density fiberboard), covered in black carpet.

Internal Box Volume: Each enclosure has 0.29 cubic feet of airspace.

Terminals: Each enclosure has a pair of spring-post speaker terminals mounted in the rear panel. The spring terminals will accept bare wire up to 10 gauge, pin connectors, and single banana plugs, but are spaced too far apart for dual banana plugs. Inside the enclosure, each set of terminals has an attached 18" length of speaker wire for connecting the subwoofer.

Brackets: Brackets for securing the enclosures to your vehicle are recommended.
