Overview: The Soul SL300 over-ear headphones offer active
noise cancelling, a comfortable padded headband, and an in-line 3-button remote
control with built-in microphone.
Remote and Microphone: The in-line 3-button remote control and
microphone is Made for iPod, Made for iPhone, and Made for iPad compliant and is
compatible with the 4th, 5th, and 6th generation iPod nano, 2nd generation (120
GB) and 3rd generation (160 GB introduced September 2009) iPod classic, 2nd, 3rd,
and 4th generation iPod touch, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad, and iPad 2. The remote
functions include volume up/down, play, pause, skip forward, skip backward, scan
forward/backward within a song (compatible with select iPods only), answer call,
end call, reject call, and answer call waiting.
Removable Headphone Cable: The SL300 headphones include two
interchangeable cables, one with the in-line remote, the other without. Each cable
has a straight 3.5mm mini-plug on the headphone end and right-angled 3.5mm mini-plug
on the source end. The mini-plugs on both cables are gold-plated. If you plan to use
the headphones for noise reduction only, simply put the headset on and turn on the
noise reduction circuitry; there is no need to connect the audio cord.
Airline Stereo Audio Adapter: The supplied airline stereo
audio adapter allows connection to a variety of aircraft entertainment systems.
The airline adapter is also gold-plated and has a female 3.5mm mini-jack and
dual male (mono) 3.5mm mini-plugs.
1/4" Adapter: A gold-plated 3.5mm (female) to 1/4"
(male) adapter is also included.
Travel Case: The headphones fold for compact storage in the
provided case, making them an ideal travel accessory.
Illuminated Logo: The Soul logo on both earcups has an illuminated
ring around it. The illumination can be turned off if you prefer.
Batteries: The SL300 headphones' noise cancelling circuitry and
logo backlighting are powered by two "AAA" batteries.
