iDatalink's ADS-HRN(SR)-CHR01 interface harness allows you to connect a new car stereo in select 2007-up Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Mazda, Mitsubishi, and Volkswagen vehicles, working in conjunction with iDatalink's Maestro ADS-MRR module. Once connected, you'll retain the use of your steering wheel audio controls and your factory amp in these vehicles.
The package includes connectors that plug in between the Maestro module, your Chrysler radio's wiring plugs, and your new car stereo. You'll have to solder or splice together this harness's power/ground, illumination, speaker, and navigation output wires to the corresponding wires on your aftermarket receiver's wiring harness.
With select iDatalink-compatible radios from Kenwood, Alpine, and Pioneer (see Details for specific models), you'll also be able to retain the use of your Uconnect system, including voice command.
If you want to keep the factory Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) system, you can add iDatalink's ADS-HRN(AV)-CHR01 cable (sold separately) to send audio and video from your new touchscreen receiver to the factory monitor.
Installation note: The ADS-HRN(SR)-CHR01 harness must be used with the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR module to connect a new car stereo to your Chrysler-made vehicle.
Note: Most vehicles will require additional installation parts please identify your vehicle if you haven’t done so. You can also call an Advisor for more information.
Average Customer Review(s):
Great customer service AAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++
Pros: Great naleg of product
Works great but has terrible installation instructions
So easy to install. Clear instructions, and everything works great!
Pros: Wiring diagram and harness were matched perfectly.
Cons: None for me.
this item made my installation a breeze
Pros: very easy
Nice and easy to install. Kept most of the functions on the steering wheel controls. Volume up/down, next track, mute, etc. Lost my uConnect with the aftermarket unit (Clarion). Apparently, iDatalink isn't compatible with Clarion. Kenwood and Pioneer are the only ones that are fully compatible with it.
Pros: Easy to install. Kept most functions.
Cons: Not compatible to keep uConnect with a Clarion unit.
worked great at first until it gets very hot I need to relocate to keep from excessive heat
Worked great with my Pioneer 6000 NEX and iDatalink Maestro.
Love it real easy to fit in
Pros: Love it
Works as described
Works as advertised. Everything fit and hooked up to the maestro with no issues. Being a little picky, there were some extra wires hanging around that were not needed.
Pros: Good quality connections. No issues.
Cons: Wires may need to be cleaned up and zip tied together since there are many and not all are used.
Overview: The iDatalink Maestro ADS-HRN(SR)-CHR01 installation harness greatly simplifies the installation of the Maestro RR Car Radio Replacement Interface module (794ADSMRR, sold separately) in select Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Mitsubishi, and Volkswagen vehicles.
