Our take on the BoraGear Toe Kick Vent

If you've installed a BoraGear ventilation system in your audio/video system's closet or cabinet, then you already understand the importance of keeping your gear cool. But with passive air intake, your fans can't operate to their fullest capacity. This toe kick vent solves that problem. It hides the vents cut in the bottom of your cabinet without impeding airflow.

The vent's made of flexible ABS plastic so it can be fastened tightly to slightly irregular surfaces. And it's paintable, so you can make the vent blend in completely.

Hands-on research

Product Research

Overview: The BoraGear Toe Kick Vent is an air intake, designed to be used with a BoraGear cooling system. Without the proper intake, fans cannot perform to their fullest capability, making the intake a very important part of the cooling system. The vent is made of white, corrosion-proof, impact-resistant, ABS plastic, however, it can be painted, if desired.

Installation: The Toe Kick Vent's overall dimensions are 17-1/2" wide, 2-5/8" high, and 5/8" deep (7/16" behind the flange). When installing the vent, a hole 15-1/2" wide and 1-7/8" high is required. The vent easily installs with four screws; two on each end. The flange overhangs the cutout by 1 inch on each end and 3/8" at the top and bottom. The vent is flexible enough to fit slightly irregular surfaces.
