Fixed-frame projector screen with Pearlescent white fabric (106")
Our take on the Da-Lite Imager by Crutchfield's Steve Kindig
If you're serious about creating a cinema-like experience in your home theater, turn to the screen experts at Da-Lite. The Imager series is one of their high-performance fixed-frame designs, offering outstanding build quality and crowd-pleasing image quality.
The sturdy 2" aluminum frame assembles in minutes. You attach the screen material to the frame using the provided snaps, which stretches the screen flat to provide a smooth, uniform surface for the projected image. The frame's black powder-coat finish looks stylish, while also concealing projector overshoot and boosting the visual punch.
This screen features Da-Lite's Pearlescent surface, which provides greater reflectivity and brilliance than matte white screens without loss of image quality. Pearlescent works well with lower output projectors in rooms with relatively high ambient light present. This surface provides moderate viewing angles.

Overview: The Da-Lite Imager is a fixed frame, non-retractable projection screen, designed to be permanently mounted to a wall or in a wall opening. It has a black, powder-coated aluminum frame, which provides a sleek, black masking border. The Imager provides a perfectly flat screen, ideal for video projection. It comes with the Pearlescent screen fabric, which is attached to the 2" frame by snaps.
Viewing Area: The screen has a 106" (diagonal) viewing area with a 16:9 aspect ratio, perfect for viewing your HDTV programs and movies. The viewing area is 52" high and 92" wide.
Screen Surface: The Pearlescent screen surface offers a higher amount of reflectivity and brilliance without loss of image quality or resolution. It has a gain factor of 1.5, and is a good choice when used with a lower output projector, or where there a high amount of ambient light. It has a moderate viewing angle of +/-40° from center. The screen surface is washable with mild soap and water, flame retardant, and mildew resistant.
Installation: This Da-Lite projection screen is designed to be permanently wall-mounted. The frame comes in four pieces, and must be assembled. In addition, two wall-mount brackets are included, one each for the top and bottom. Enough hardware is included for assembling the frame, fastening the viewing surface, and attaching the wall-mount brackets. The screen does NOT include the hardware for securing it to the wall. It is recommended that the wall-mount brackets be secured to wall studs.
