A new contender
AKG has supplied creative solutions for sound reinforcement and recording since 1947. Their microphones are among the most respected and widely-used in the industry. Now AKG has introduced the WMS40 Mini, a small, lightweight, and inexpensive wireless microphone system.
Receiver and sender
The WMS40 Mini system, which includes the HT40 Mini wireless microphone and the SR40 Mini receiver, offers simple "plug and play" setup. The HT40 Mini cardoid dynamic microphone is protected by a wire mesh grille and features a handy, noiseless ON/OFF/MUTE switch. Its integrated transmitter offers up to 30 hours of life from a single AA battery.
The SR40 Mini receiver includes a volume knob, a balanced 1/4" output jack, and LED indicators for on/off status, signal strength, and clipping. A noiseless on/off switch protects speakers and other components from switching noise. You can operate the receiver on any AC voltage from 110 to 240 volts, and the package includes adapters for US, EU, and UK power systems. The receiver's metal housing will stand up to extended wear and tear, and you can rackmount the receiver with AKG's RMU40 Pro adapter kit (not included).
AKG's WMS40 Mini is a strong contender in bang-for-the-buck, and offers proven AKG performance. Why not see if wireless is right for you?
