Do you need a small PA system to help with presentations or play music in a mid-size, 150-seat auditorium, house of worship, or nightclub? Fender's Passport Venue system gives you the ability to amplify up to four microphones and four instruments, plus play music from a portable player with enough volume to fill those kinds of spaces. The system's amplifier delivers 600 total watts to the two PA speakers, each consisting of a 10" woofer plus a 1.2" horn-loaded tweeter. The 3-piece system latches together in one neat suitcase-like package for incredible convenience for travel or storage.
Just unlatch the speakers from the mixer module, plug in the included cables, and you'll be all ready to plug up your mics and music for your show. Each channel of the Passport Venue's powered mixer features reverb, bass, treble, volume control, and an overload/clip indicator, so a loud voice won't distort, for example.
Channels 1 through 4 all feature a Pad button that lowers a hot incoming signal 20 dB, also to prevent distortion. Channel 5 and 6 each feature a high-impedance setting so you can plug a couple guitars directly into the system. A USB port lets you record WAV files and playback WAV and MP3 files directly with an external thumb drive or computer. Mono and subwoofer outputs let you expand your system with additional powered speakers and subs.

Overview: The Fender Passport Venue is a portable and versatile audio system designed for larger venues and occasions. It includes a powered mixer and two full-range speakers that conveniently snap together for suitcase-style portability making it ideal for sporting and worship events, seminars, and for band and DJ gigs. The Venue features a 10 channel mixer with 13 inputs: Four XLR, six 1/4" TS, two 1/8" stereo jacks, as well as a USB jack. The built-in amplifier provides a total of 600 watts of power, 300 watts per speaker @4Ω, for clear reliable sound. Other features include Bass/Treble controls for each channel, built-in reverb available for all channels, phantom power, playback and record controls for the USB port, subwoofer and monitor outputs.
Inputs: All of the Venue's inputs are located on the front panel. Channels 1 - 4 have XLR inputs with phantom power available, channels 5 and 6 have 1/4" TS input jacks that can accept a line or instrument level signal, while channels 7/8 and 9/10 are configured as stereo/dual-mono inputs, each with two 1/4" TS (L/R) jacks and an 1/8" stereo jack. There's also a USB (Type-A, 2.0) port that can be used to record WAV files to a USB drive or playback WAV and MP3 files.
Outputs: The Venue's main output channels are two 1/4" TS jacks located on the rear panel. The rear panel includes a 1/4" TS Subwoofer output that activates an internal crossover when a plug is inserted into the jack, applying a 120 Hz high-pass filter for the Main outputs while outputting the lower frequencies from the Subwoofer jack. The front panel also includes an 1/8" stereo headphone output as well as a 1/4" TS Monitor output that will pass the Main signal out to an additional powered speaker. The Monitor signal is pre-Master Volume control, but has a dedicated Level control that affects both the Monitor and Headphone outputs.
Channel Strips: Each of the Venue's channel strips has its own Volume, Bass, Treble, and Reverb amount controls. Channels 1 - 4 include a Pad button, which reduces the input sensitivity by 20 dB for stronger line-level signals. Channels 5 and 6 each have an Instrument/Line button which can activate the high-impedance (Hi-Z) pre-amplifier for instruments or be left off for line-level signals. These buttons light red when activated.
Master Volume: The Main Output signal can be adjusted with the Master Volume control. This section includes two 11-segment, green LED level meters with a red zone to indicate clipping. A Tone control is provided that affects the overall output signal, and applies no equalization at center detent. Turning the knob clockwise increases the highs while decreasing the lows and counter-clockwise will lower the highs and increase the lows.
Reverb: The Passport Venue includes built-in Reverb. This section includes a Select button to choose between Reverb 1 - Dark hall to bright plate with short to long diffusion, and Reverb 2 - Medium dark to bright hall with short to very long diffusion. A Time control is also provided to adjust length of the Reverb tail and a Tone control which adjusts the tonal characteristic of the Reverb. Each of the channels has its own individual Reverb level control.
USB: Included on the front panel is a USB port (Type-A, 2.0) that can be used to playback WAV and MP3 files from a flash drive, as well as to record to one. Recording is done in WAV format @16 bit/44.1 kHz. Transport controls for the USB section include: Record, Play/Pause, Previous Track, and Next Track.
Phantom Power: Inputs 1 - 4 can provide +48 V of phantom power on the XLR inputs. The Venue has one phantom power button that activates it for all 4 channels.
Speakers: Each of the two included speakers contains a 10" woofer along with a 1.2" tweeter housed in a durable molded-plastic enclosure. The front panels are protected by a perforated metal grill and also include the 1/4" speaker input jacks.
Indicators: Each of the input channels and the main volume have an LED indicator that lights green when a signal is present. These will turn orange if the signal level gets close to clipping and will go red if the signal does clip. There's a main power indicator that lights green when the unit is on and a Protect LED that will lights red indicating the mixer has shut down due to an electrical or thermal problem. The Pad, Line, and Phantom Power buttons light up red when engaged and the USB transport buttons will light up various colors when engaged.
Rear Panel: The rear panel of the Passport Venue has two 1/4" speaker output jacks to use with the included 16.5' speaker wire terminated with right-angle 1/4" jacks. There's a voltage selector switch that can be set for 100V - 120V or 220V - 240V for international use. The rear panel also includes a 3-pin IEC power socket, the Power switch, and a small storage enclosure to house the speaker wire and power cord during transportation.
