Our take on the Audio-Technica Microphone Pair

This Audio-Technica Mic package includes a pair of condenser mics that'll prove handy in a wide variety of applications. Both mics feature a rugged exterior casing and are well-suited for use in the studio and on stage. The AT2020 features a large diaphragm for smooth, natural sound, making it a great vocal mic. The compact AT2021 features a small-diaphragm design for use with instruments like acoustic guitar or piano. You can also use it as an overhead mic for an ensemble, or as a group vocal mic. Both mics come with stand adapters and carry bags.

Product Research

Overview: The AT2041SP Studio Pack offers two versatile 20 Series condenser microphones for home, project, and commercial studio use. With excellent specs, rugged design and construction, the AT2020 side-address condenser is ideal for vocal and instrument applications, while the AT2021 small-diaphragm condenser is a natural for acoustic instruments, overheads, hi-hat and piano. Each offers a wide dynamic range and handles high SPL's with ease.

Polar Pattern: Both microphones have a cardioid polar pattern, which reduces sound picked up from the sides and rear, greatly improving isolation of the sound source and reducing feedback.

Mounting: Two microphone mounts are provided with the AT2041SP set. The AT2020 uses a pivoting, threaded stand mount and the AT2021 uses a standard professional stand clamp.

Connections: Both microphones come with corrosion-resistant, gold-plated, male XLR connectors. These provide a low-impedance, balanced output.

Phantom Power: Since these are condenser microphones, they both require 48V phantom power.
