Overview

Our take on the Bang & Olufsen H3 (2nd generation)

Cheap earbuds can be grating on your ears. They often sound harsh, particularly with high-frequency sounds like cymbals. The Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H3 in-ear headphones are a significant upgrade from whatever earbuds came with your smartphone. They offer smooth sound, with high frequencies that have plenty of detail without the hard edges. Their warm midrange makes vocals stand out, and the bass response is never bloated or boomy.

The cure for edgy sound

Beautifully crafted stainless steel earbuds

Take a close look at the H3's stainless steel earpieces and you'll notice lots of tiny holes surrounding the B&O logo. Those holes allow small amounts of air to flow into the enclosures, for sound that's more open and spacious — a cool feature we don't see often in in-ear headphones.

Calls and control with your iPhone®

The BeoPlay H3's built-in three-button remote offers volume and track control on Apple devices. There's also a tiny built-in microphone for taking calls — or talking to SIRI® — while your iPhone remains in your pocket or bag.

The H3 headphones feature soft rubber ear tips that are angled for better sound isolation. There are four pairs included, so that you can find the right size and fit.
