Overview: The Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H7 is an elegant
on-ear wireless headphone with high-performance sound. These Jakob
Wagner-designed headphones feature genuine lambskin-covered memory foam ear
pads, a high quality cow leather-covered head band, and polished anodized
aluminum construction. The H7s have technically advanced features such as
Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX and AAC codecs, electro-dynamic 40mm drivers,
and on-board touch controls for your music and phone calls. The headphones come
with a 50" audio cable, a Micro USB charging cable, and a
plush soft storage pouch.
Drivers: The BeoPlay H7 is equipped with custom 40mm drivers
with strong Neodymium magnets for a full and rich musical performance.
Bluetooth: Equipped with Bluetooth 4.1, the H7 lets you roam
freely while listening to your favorite tunes. The aptX LL and AAC codecs let you enjoy
your music wirelessly without losing fidelity. The headphones are compatible
with the following profiles: Headset Profile (HSP), Hands Free Profile (HFP),
Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), and Audio Video Remote Control
Profile (AVRCP). The H7 has a wireless range of about 30 feet.
Touch Controls: The BeoPlay H7 wireless headphones have a
touch-sensitive aluminum panel on the right ear cup that allows you to control
playback and phone functions. A short tap will pause and play your music or
answer a call, while a long touch will hang up your phone call. A double-tap
will redial your last dialed phone number. A forward swipe across the touch
panel will skip to the next music track, and a backward swipe jumps to the
beginning of the current track or the previous track. For both music playback
and phone calls, a clockwise circle will raise the volume, while a
counter-clockwise circle will lower the volume.
Rechargeable Battery: The Bluetooth features are
powered by a 770mA Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The battery charges in
about 2.5 hours via the supplied Micro USB cable. A fully charged battery gives
you enough power for up to 20 hours of Bluetooth wireless play time. The battery
is removable and can be replaced when needed.
Cable: The BeoPlay H7 features a 50" cable with 3.5mm
plugs at each end that allows you to use the headphones when the battery becomes
exhausted, or Bluetooth cannot be used. When in passive mode, the touch controls
are disabled, and playback control must be performed on the source device.
