E Series 10" 2-way PA speaker — 600W continuous
Our take on the QSC E10 by Crutchfield's Bob Bihlmayer
A beautiful sound
I remember the first time I heard a QSC powered speaker in a club. I was astonished at the quality of the sound emanating from such a compact enclosure. Now QSC offers this kind of sonic firepower with their E Series passive PA speakers. Their E10 speaker features a heavy-duty 10" woofer and a 1" compression driver in a compact plywood enclosure coated with black textured paint. The E10 handles up to 300 watts RMS, delivering powerful, clear sound that belies its small size.
Pair it with a QSC
QSC designed the E10 to work well with any mixer or amplifier, but its performance is greatly enhanced when you pair it up with a QSC GXD power amp or their TouchMix digital mixer. The built-in signal processing in those products optimizes this speaker for live sound, floor monitor, karaoke, or DJ applications, either with a subwoofer or by itself.
The E10 features a metal dual-angle socket that allows you to mount the speaker in the usual manner, or angled down 10º to improve coverage of the room. The metal grille protects the drivers from damage on the gig or in the van. QSC knows that you go to a lot of trouble to play live gigs. They've designed a speaker that brings your performance to your audience without compromise.
