Overview: The Nest Connect is a Wi-Fi extender that allows you to place Nest Detect sensors farther away from the Nest Guard alarm brain. The maximum range of the Nest Detect is 50 feet. With the Connect, that range is extended by an additional 40 to 50 feet. Nest Connect plugs into a standard AC outlet, and operates on 802.11b/g/n at 2.4GHz with WEP, WPA, and WPA2 encryption.
