Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
I received my rack about a week after ordering. I unpacked it and noticed it's very well made. I didn't receive any instructions but it's very straight forward. There are two pre drilled mounting holes and a third partially drilled hole ( if needed ). I noticed the supplied template was off a bit from the actual rack so I discarded and laid out my hole locations by hand on the wall. Located two studs. At this point I didn't like the supplied hardware and for my application I ran to the hardware store and picked up grade 8 ti screws a type of lag bolt if you will. I also deviated at this point and decided to layout and drill two more holes in line with the originals butat the bottom of the mounting plate. Attached it to the wall making sure everything was level and it is very secure. I took the extra steps on mounting as I'm sitting a Linn LP12 on it most people will not need to alter the mounting but wanted to explain how easy it is if needed. End result. Looks great and preforms outstanding! My sondek came alive. Sounds much clearer. More separation and bass. I recommend this rack to anyone as Linn tables can be a bit tricky to set up correctly.
Pros: Construction! Isolation!
Cons: Could add different hardware for different needs. Not a big deal
