Plug this adapter into a switched AC outlet on your receiver or preamp to send component on/off status signals to compatible Niles IR extender systems. See individual IR system pages for compatibility.
This replaced a defective transformer for my MU480. The new transformer and a new MU480 work well.

Overview: The IS-12V is a 12 volt DC power supply that provides status information to Niles Main System Units. It plugs into a switched AC output on the back of your system's audio receiver, and sends a signal to the Hub whenever the source is powered up. It can also sent a 12 volt turn-on trigger to other components. It provides enough current to trigger up to six automated switchers simultaneously.
