Sound Ordnance M2-10DVC
10" subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils
Our take on the Sound Ordnance M2-10DVC by Crutchfield's John Pollard
Add some boom to your ride
Win the battle for boom with subwoofers from Sound Ordnance. Throw one or two of these bad boys in your vehicle to give you bass you can feel. You'll love the difference these subs make, and adding them to your system won't destroy your budget.
Built like a tank
The M2-10DVC 10" subwoofer comes with a tough glass fiber cone that will keep its shape when the music's turned up, so your bass stays accurate. The butyl rubber surround helps keep the woofer's movement on track, and it'll stay pliable for years to come. The stamped steel basket provides a stable home for the whole assembly, so your bass plays the way it should.
The dual 4-ohm voice coils allow you to wire the sub for 2- or 8-ohm impedance, giving you the flexibility you need when you add more Sound Ordnance subs in the future. Also, Sound Ordnance backs up this sub with a 3-year warranty so you can have peace of mind while you're rocking hard.
To drive this single subwoofer, we recommend a mono amplifier rated between 120 and 225 watts RMS at 2 ohms. For more information, please refer to our article on How to Match Subwoofers and Amplifiers.

Great bang for the buck. Great sound but what suffers are the screw terminal post. A Spring loaded post this would have been a 5. The screw posts do not like larger wire.

I believe 150. I bought the mono 350 rms sound ordnance amp to push the sub. After fine tuning with a crutch field tech, this unit bumps hard for a single 10. [ AARYN Jul 04, 2014 ]
I run a 12 year old MTX Thunder 4244. These were my only choice due to the capabilities of my older amp. I am running 120watts through 2 of these. Quite surprised at the quality. I would definitely recommend. [ Randy Jul 03, 2014 ]
Each voice coil is rated to 75 watts RMS. This means that the subwoofer total RMS is 150 watts. I have two M2-10DVC subwoofers coupled to a Sound Ordnance M-1500 mono amp and it sounds fantastic! [ MICHAEL Jul 03, 2014 ]
