In-wall speaker or amplifier selector (White)
The Niles ABA-1D in-wall "A-B" selector comes in handy for two different types of custom audio installations. I am using this unit to switch a set of speakers in a den between either a small amplifier in the room for a source different than the rest of the house or to tie the den speakers into the whole-house system. Installation was a breeze and the switch is meeting my needs completely.

Why did you buy this?
It did exactly what I needed it to do [ Joseph Feb 02, 2017 ]
3 questions already asked
I know it can handle 350 watts per channel not I don't believe it is rated for a volt application but if you mean your speakers are 70 Watts it can more than handle it Enter [ Gerald Apr 21, 2017 ]
I think it is. You could probably find something on line that would work, depending what is in the other half of the box. I have put a dimming light switch, with a center that same size, in a 4 gang box , with 3 other regular light switches and found a cover for that. [ Chris Jun 03, 2016 ]
Yes. [ Rsvlrog Jun 02, 2016 ]
Yes it's a decor plate which is the newer style switch plate. You need a duplex plate for the 2 gang depending what second item is. Make sure you don't combine 110 with low voltage in one box without the separator in middle. Any electrical supply should know what you need?? Good luck [ LOUIS Jun 01, 2016 ]
Yes. [ Kevin Jun 01, 2016 ]
I can't see any reason that would not work. Mine receives volume controlled directly from my receiver and works great. [ Greg Dec 07, 2015 ]
I would think so. All this is, is a switching relay. Normally open or closed contacts. [ Chris Dec 06, 2015 ]
