Why did you buy this?

This product was well rated and I know psb has a stand up business ethic to produce excellent products, regardless of what it is. Psb just makes excellent products. [ Kyle  Mar 29, 2018 ]
Need wall mounts for PSB imagine mini [ Vlad  Dec 10, 2016 ]

4 questions already asked

They are not made to work. The screw holes on the speakers are not in the right places to work with the mounts. Also, at this time we don't have any wall-mounts for the speakers in that system. My Bio: [ Paul  Nov 12, 2017 ]  Staff
I believe that it would. That's why I bought them. But then, honestly, I figured out a way to mount them right side up (they are in the hutch of my desk, mounted as flush as possible to the underside of the upper cabinet). The speakers sound much better mounted, btw, IMHO. Good luck! [ Thomas  Jun 16, 2017 ]
The problem with mounting the speakers upside down is that the two screws that go into each speaker's base (you can see the two screw hole openings in each bracket base) would not have any support and would bear the full weight of each speaker. Rightside up, the piece of black plastic supports the speakers - the screws simply bind the speaker to the base. The speakers they support are excellent, and the brackets are well engineered and do the job perfectly. Rightside up, unfortunately. [ ARTHUR  Jun 16, 2017 ]
If your question is about whether the bracket will hold the speaker in this orientation, it will. It will not however allow you to aim the speaker towards the listening area, it will only allow the speaker to stay oriented in a down firing position. Solid construction. [ Scott  Jun 16, 2017 ]
I would contact PSB directly for that answer. The speaker is heavy for the size and the bracket. An upside down mount would put a lot of stress on the screws that hold the speaker to the bracket. [ Anthony  Jun 16, 2017 ]
I don't know. Sorry, [ Thomas  Jul 13, 2016 ]
fit into he ceiling, yes needs to be attached to something solid like a stud. Movement? check that out on PSB site ,specs show movement. This method of communication won't allow for direct link. So go to psb official site then imagine mini speakers then note at bottom link to brackets. There you will find Specs will show you the angle of the dangle. [ Lawrence  Jul 12, 2016 ]
I don't think this would work on a ceiling because the speakers are heavy and would be held on to the bracket by two relatively small screws. I think when PSB said wall they meant it! Excellent brackets though. [ ARTHUR  Jul 12, 2016 ]
I adjusted the brackets at an angle and made it work for a ceiling (with the speaker used a a surround rear) but then I pulled them and decided the speaker sounded too good for the rear and put them in the front with a PSB center channel speaker and high end sub. I decided to splurge for high end rear speakers and the right amp to support them instead. Just need to get my better half fully on board. [ Jason  Jul 11, 2016 ]
About 150 degrees out of 180, so they are pretty flexible [ JOSE  Oct 21, 2014 ]
