Our take on the B-Tech BT55
These slim-line brackets are just the ticket for your surround speakers or small bookshelf speakers. They're made of glass reinforced nylon for low resonance and durability.
Speakers can be mounted to the brackets using the speakers' keyhole slots or threaded inserts (two M3 bolts, two M6 bolts and two UNC bolts included). Or you can screw the brackets into the speaker cabinets using woodscrews.
Each bracket swivels left or right and tilts up 15 degrees or down 20 degrees. Supports speakers weighing up to 13 lbs.
Priced per pair
What's in the Box:
- Two black nylon loudspeaker mounting brackets (consist of wall assemply/speaker mount/thumbscrew); Hardware pack with 6 plastic wall anchors; 6 black screw covers; Six 1.5" wood screws
- 2 M5 bolts
- 2 M3 bolts
- 2 M6 bolts
- 2 UNC bolts
- Diagrams printed on box - no manual/warranty/other instructions included
The bracket is made of hi-tech glass reinforced nylon.
It incorporates a high friction washer to facilitate hand tightening and to reduce resonance.
When a speaker is attached to this bracket it may be swiveled freely left to right (180 degrees) and may be pointed upwards by 15 degrees and downwards by 20 degrees.
The wall portion is attached to the wall using three wood screws and the plastic wall anchors.
The portion which attaches to the loudspeaker itself may be mounted by using the included screws on loudspeakers which have a keyhole slot, or by using the bolts on loudspeakers which have a single female thread.
The included bolts may be too long for some speakers. You may have to purchase the right length screws at a hardware store.
Loudspeaker weight must not exceed 13 pounds.
