Construction

A tough, black and blue nylon mesh braided jacket protects the wires within and flexes easily to bend around obstacles in an installation. The RCA connectors feature nickel-coated, split-tip center-pin conductors made from machined brass that hold themselves tightly in position. Each zinc alloy shell sports a satin chrome finish stamped with the Crutchfield logo, so you'll be sure this cable will take good care of your music.

CTA-2015 compliant

Crutchfield wire

Crutchfield wire is made of oxygen-free copper, with no impurities that could raise its resistance to a signal's flow or add interference. Crutchfield wire meets all American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) standards for size, resistance, and insulation quality. Warranty: 1 year.

Q
Are these constructed with OFC?
ceekay  Feb 20, 2021

A
They sure are made from oxygen free copper!

If you click on "OVERVIEW" then "READ MORE" you will find "Crutchfield wire is made of oxygen-free copper" though if you don't mind spending more money I recommend considering SKW 6N OCC wire recommended by YouTube'r ANA[DIA]LOG in his video titled "Unbelievable high-end OCC copper speaker cables at very low price!" Unfortunately Cruthchfield does not offer OCC so I bought mine from HiFiGo I am happy with the more focused soundstage and perhaps greater subtlety Happy Listening to You

Greetings and Best Wishes If those are the same interconnects which I purchased then I am sure that the product description was that they are OFC I would not have purchased any other at that time. I have recently upgraded to 6N OCC interconnects speaker cables and power cord manufactured by SKW recommended by YouTube'r ANA[DIA]LOG which I purchased from HiFiGo. I am happy with the tighter sound stage and greater subtlety. Kind Regards and Happy Listening to You

Q
Can I connect my CD player to two stereo receivers?
james  Jan 23, 2021
2 answers
A
No. I'm not 100% sure. But I believe I'm correct... Well let me say I'm using 2 channel rca cable from my powerbass eq to my pioneer headunit.
bernie  Jan 24, 2021
A
To connect your CD player to two stereo receivers you will need two sets of outputs on the CD player and two sets of RCA cables to run to two receivers. I haven't seen a CD player with two sets of RCA outs unless you have an unusual set up. My Onkyo CD players have one set of RCAs out and one digital output. Otherwise, you can't connect a CD player to two separate stereo receivers.

Q
what is the capacitance of these cables, it is usually measured in pF per foot, or pF per meter?
david  Oct 26, 2020
1 answer
A
Unfortunately we do not have the specific test results for the capacitance, however we can confirm the RCA cables serve their function well.

Q
Are these cable constructed with a shield as well for noise rejection?
mark  Dec 26, 2018
2 answers
A
I think they are , they were a good quality cable.
joe  Dec 27, 2018
A
Not sure although rca cables with shielding are usually a little thicker and more expensive. Unless noise rejection is something else.
cory  Dec 26, 2018
Q
does this need to be bolted/secured down underneath the seat? Or will it stay in place pretty well on its own?
jeremy  Sep 26, 2017
1 answer
A
that's up to you a few zip ties around wires that are there from the factory will make the install look oem

Q
Can these be used to connect a vintage Sansui receiver to Vintage Klipsch Forte speakers?
rob  Jul 25, 2020

A
yes for receiver, they would have to be modified for speakers
mervin  Jul 25, 2020
Q
Are these available in a 2 into 1 configuration?
matthew  Apr 14, 2021

A
We have not received any answers from other customers on your question. I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They should be able to help answer your question.

Q
Can this cable be used to connect a poweed subwoofer to the pre out on my Cambridge Audio integrated amplifier?
william  Jun 18, 2020
1 answer
A
Yes if your amp has a sub pre-out, but I would recommend a quality cord specifically made for a sub. With a quality amp driving your sub you won't regret spending a little more for the returned enjoyment and pleasure.

Q
Dumb question. These will do video for a back up camera? Or is the "composit". You guys are out of stock for the cables that automatically were recommended is why I ask.
austin  Dec 05, 2021
1 answer
A
This cable is not optimized to pass video signals, but could be used as a composite video cable when no other choices are available. The potential deal breaker is that most cameras come with their own unique cable that has a brand specific connector on one end of their cable making this not able to plug in.

Q
Do these work with record players?
patrick  Apr 14, 2020

Theres no reason it shouldn't. Are you connecting the record player to a receiver/amplifier?
