This marine-rated MW6 adapter lets you control a Clarion marine receiver through the multi-function display (MFD) device on your boat's NMEA 2000 network. It can be integrated smoothly into your network (no programming is necessary) and it makes life on the water a lot more convenient.
The MW6 lets you use your MFD to control receiver functions like source switching, volume, play/pause, and next/previous track. You'll also be able to see artist/album/track info and the current radio frequency on the display.

Features
NMEA2000 Interface Module: The MW6 NMEA 2000 Compliant interface module allows select Clarion marine source units to be seamlessly added to a boat's onboard NMEA 2000 network, enabling control of Clarion source units directly from the boat's Multi-Function Display (MFD) device. The MW6 offers a simple plug-and-play installation with no programming necessary.
Compatibility: The MW6 NMEA 2000 Compliant interface module is compatible with the following Clarion marine source units (features and functionality may vary by Clarion source unit).
- CMD Series: CMD8
- CMS Series: CMS2, CMS4, CMS5, CMS20
- M Series: M505, M508, M606, M608
Notes: Dip switches along the side of the MW6 module will need to be set to indicated what model Clarion marine source unit are connecting. See Installation Diagram for specific settings.
Connectors: The MW6 NMEA 2000 Compliant interface module features two attached cables. There is an attached 6" cable terminated by a male 8-pin connector which plugs into a compatible Clarion marine source unit. In most cases an extension cable will be needed (item number 020MWRXCRT, sold separately). There is also a 3' cable terminated by a male 5-pin connector that plugs into the boat's NMEA 2000 network.
Control Functions: Once installed between the boat's MFD and supported Clarion marine source units, boaters will be able to control various audio system functions - including power on/off, source selection, play/pause, next/previous track, seek up/down and more, directly from the UI of their MFD.
Display Info: The boat's Multi-Function Display (MFD) device will also display the Clarion marine source unit's song/artist/album info, track number, current radio station (frequency), and more.
Marine Rated: The MW6 NMEA 2000 Compliant interface module meets or Exceeds ASTM B117 (Salt / Fog Exposure). The circuit boards are covered in moisture resistant polymer.
Optional Wired Remote: The MW6 NMEA 2000 Compliant interface module can also be used in conjunction with Clarion wired remotes. The wired remote will need to be connected between the Clarion source unit and the MW6 via via Clarion's MWRYCRET Y-cable (020MWRYC, sold separately).
Mounting: The MW6 comes with four screws to secure the unit to a flat surface.
