About the AtlasIED Signal AA-YSUM
Stereo to mono
Stereo to mono
Don't have enough stereo inputs on your mixer? The Atlas Signal AA-YSUM cable helps to solve this common problem in commercial installations. Often, there are not enough stereo inputs on a mixer/amplifier for playback devices such as CDs, DVDs, tape players, or DSS receivers. This AA-YSUM summing cable combines an unbalanced stereo signal into a mono signal that you can plug into a mono mic/line input to meet your installation requirements.
This 3-foot cable uses two male RCA plugs to connect to your stereo audio source, then sums the stereo signal together via an internal resistor network into a mono signal. The single three-position Phoenix "Euro-style" connector will match input and output impedance of most audio equipment. The AA-YSUM cable features Atlas' Sure Grip™ mini connectors, a PolyFlex outer jacket, and Accu-Grain™ multi-strand copper conductor wire. Warranty: 5 years.
NOTE: This item is not compatible with Atlas TSD devices or AA50/AA100 mixer amplifiers.

Features
Overview: The Atlas AA-YSUM is a summing cable used to combine an unbalanced stereo signal into an unbalanced mono signal. The 40" cable features two male RCA connectors on one end that get summed together, via an internal resistor network, into a 3-pin Euroblock (Phoenix) connector, matching the input and output impedance of most equipment. Often, in the commercial audio world, there aren't enough stereo summed inputs on a mixer or amplifier for playback devices such as CD, DVD, and satellite radios, but may have additional mono mic/line inputs that are available. The AA-YSUM lets you utilize these open inputs.
Note: The AA-YSUM is not compatible with Atlas TSD devices or the AA50/AA100 mixer amplifiers.
