Battery backup for USB-C devices
Ventev 597877 powercell 6010+ - Keep USB-C devices, like newer Android™ phones, charged up while on the go
Our take on the Ventev 597877 powercell 6010+ by Crutchfield's Dave Delamere
Reserve smartphone power on the go
If you've got a smartphone with the newer Type-C USB connection, you want to make sure you have a way to power it up when you're on the go. Ventev's powercell 6010+ combines the convenience of a rechargeable portable battery with the speed of a wall charger. When your phone's battery dwindles, plug into this charged powercell using the integrated USB-C cable and the 6000 mAh battery provides over 20 hours of phone usage. If you don't need the phone for a while, the powercell's built-in battery will charge it in 4-5 hours. And when the 6010+ is drained, simply use the folding prongs to plug it into an AC wall outlet — it'll charge your connected phone first and then its battery. Can't find an outlet? Charge up the powercell 6010+ via the powercell's micro-USB input connected to a 12-volt USB charger in your car or your laptop's USB output.
Charge it up!
Unlike a battery-powered phone case, you can easily swap this power bank between devices. In addition to the integrated USB-C connector, there's a standard USB port for other devices. You can even charge two devices at the same time. When fully charged, the battery has enough juice for multiple charges, and with 12 watts of total output, the Powercell 6010+ safely charges your device at its fastest rate possible. A built-in LED indicator lets you know how much power you have left. There's also an ON/OFF button with an automatic shut off feature when its battery is fully charged. The prongs and cable neatly fold away, so you can tuck this low-profile powercell in a bag or backpack.
