Metra 71-014C Speaker Wiring Harnesses
For select 1988-up vehicles
These harnesses allow you to plug your new speakers into the factory connectors present in your vehicle's speaker openings.
Note: Some aftermarket speakers have terminals that are wider than this harness's slide-on connectors. You may need to widen the harness's female slide-on connectors, or use the slide terminals that may be included with the speakers. If you need to connect your new speaker's connectors to the Crutchfield harness, soldering is best, and crimping is also very popular - see "Accessories."
Includes Crutchfield's 60-Day Total Satisfaction Guarantee
Note: Most vehicles will require additional installation parts please identify your vehicle if you haven’t done so. You can also call an Advisor for more information.

Crutchfield Speaker Harness: Crutchfield speaker harnesses prevent you from having to cut your vehicle's factory speaker plugs when replacing your factory speakers with aftermarket car speakers. The Crutchfield speaker harness features two female quick-slide connectors on one end to attach directly to your new aftermarket car speakers & a proprietary Molex connector on the other end that connects to your vehicle's factory speaker plug.
Quick-Slide Connectors: The Crutchfield speaker harness is equipped with a large (positive) & small (negative) female quick-slide terminal. These quick-slide terminals fit directly onto most aftermarket car stereo speaker terminals (slight crimping may be required). In rare cases that the quick-slide terminals do not fit your car speaker terminals, you will need to solder the Crutchfield speaker harness to your aftermarket speaker's terminals or replace the quick-slide connectors on the Crutchfield speaker harness with the correct size terminal.
Note: Installation tools, hardware, & accessories are not included & sold separately. Please see the Accessories tab for recommendations & availability.
Quick-Slide Terminal Measurements: The positive female quick-slide terminal measures 0.205" (inner width), while the negative female quick-slide terminal measures 0.115" (inner width).
Wire Code Chart: Two identical Crutchfield speaker harnesses are included.

Why did you buy this?
It was included with the installation kit. [ LARELL L Jun 17, 2017 ]
Why butcher my car wiring and eliminate some of it's functions when I can have it all for a few bucks? I will forget shortly what I paid but I will always remember the finished product. [ Dennis Apr 22, 2016 ]
Makes for an easy install [ Shawn Feb 06, 2016 ]

The connector is a 2 pin - which mates the the connector in the car door the other end is 2 spade lugs which slip over the terminals on the speaker P.S. Get the foam covers that go over the back of the speakers - besides protecting them from water - they really make the speakers sound much better [ John P Aug 12, 2014 ]
2 pins [ JAY Aug 12, 2014 ]
Hi Rick, this black connector has 2 pins and connectors to a Bose speaker harness. I don't think it will connect to your Pontiac wiring harness. I believe Pontiac has an optional Monsoon speaker system. And I don't know what the standard wiring harness looks like. I think your best bet would be to try an auction site. Or make a custom setup for what you need. Sorry I couldn't help anymore. Hope you find what your looking for. [ RICHARD Aug 11, 2014 ]
