Import Xpression - Boston, MA April 12, 2003
Heads up!Welcome to this article from the Crutchfield archives. Have fun reading it, but be aware that the information may be outdated and links may be broken.
What is Import Xpression?
Attend an Import Xpression event and you'll witness cars compete in up to 39 different classes, ranging from "Best 2-door Mild" to "Best 4-door Wild." Entertainment includes a DJ battle, bikini expo, and stageshow.
Large numbers of cars gave visitors lots to take in at the show. Carbon fiber inserts and widebody kits continue to be popular amongst enthusiasts. We also noticed several rides that had been outfitted with Lamborghini-style vertical doors. One particularly memorable car featured a baby seat complete with racing harnesses. Strapped next the child's seat was a mini nitrous bottle, and a sign on the floor which read: "Baby and his bottle." Check out Import Xpression to see more highlights from this and other Import Xpression shows.
Who was our guest in the booth?

Import Xpression next rolls into the Dulles Expo Center, just outside of D.C., on May 10. Be sure to stop by the Crutchfield booth to pick up a free catalog. Check out our Event Calendar to see a list of other upcoming shows.
The Haybeck's supercharged TRD Camry sports a slick custom paint job.
Twin Polk/MoMo 12" subs and widescreen monitors are stowed in the Camry's trunk.
