About the Garmin HRM-TRI
Swim, bike, run — monitor
Swim, bike, run — monitor
If you're a triathlete, you know the drill — long days of multiple workouts, multi-hour bike rides, brick workouts, swimming, and more. Garmin knows what you've got to do, so they've created the HRM-TRI heartrate monitor, an awesome training tool for avid triathletes. It's specifically designed for the needs of triathletes, monitoring your heartrate while you're swimming, biking, and running, and forwarding the info to compatible Garmin watches.
At home in the water
HRM-TRI works like a normal heartrate monitor during the bike and run, but it shines during the swim. HRM-TRI saves the information it records during your swim and transmits it automatically to your watch once you get out of the water, providing you with valuable training data that traditional HRMs can't provide. You can review your information and see just how hard you were actually working during your swim workouts or open water forays. And on the run, HRM-TRI will forward vital info on your running dynamics to compatible devices too.
Use HRM-TRI during your training, or strap it on for your races. It's slim and comfortable when worn under a trisuit or wetsuit, so it's the perfect choice for long training sessions or the big race itself.
