Extend your sound system's range

These passive speakers are built to JBL's exacting specifications, with a 5-1/4" woofer and 3/4" titanium tweeter that hold up to daily use in any weather. The InvisiBall® mounting system allows you to make a permanent installation that remains flexible, allowing 37 degrees of movement in the vertical plane and 40 degrees of horizontal rotation. The cabinet and grille can be painted to match any decor.

Built to last

Each woofer is coated with polypropylene, and uses JBL's rubberized WeatherEdge™ surround for extra protection, so you can add music to a restaurant's dining patio or set up a complete sound system for a water park. Each polycarbonate tweeter diaphragm is reinforced with a thin film of titanium for added rigidity and endurance against sun, salt and moisture. Control Contractor Series Surface Mount Speaker: The JBL Control 25AV is a compact indoor/outdoor speaker providing premium performance in background, foreground, and music systems. The Control 25AV is weather resistance so its perfect for indoor and outdoor applications. Its speaker design ensures excellent sound character, providing pleasant, enveloping sound throughout the listening area.

Note: All JBL Control Contractor loudspeakers (both ceiling speakers and surface-mount models) are designed with a similar sonic signature, allowing for mixing and matching of the various models within an application, providing a similar tonal character throughout the entire listening area.

Two-Way Speaker Design: The Control 25AV speaker employs a 0.75" titanium coated horn-loaded tweeter and a 5.25" polypropylene coated woofer for high fidelity sound performance. The woofer features JBL's WeatherEdge, a seamless, butyl rubber extension of the woofer surround, to protect critical transducer elements. The polycarbonate tweeter diaphragm is reinforced with a thin film of titanium for added rigidity and endurance.

Even Coverage Area: The Control 25AV provides an even 100° x 100° coverage area to ensure excellent sound quality throughout the listening area.

70/100V or 8-Ohm: The top-quality transformer, with reduced saturation, allows use on either 70-volt or 100-volt distributed speaker lines, with similar performance fidelity. In the bypass position, the 8-ohm impedance allows for use with conventional amplifiers.

Weather Resistance & Paintable Enclosure: Weather resistance is maximized by the Control 25AV speaker's high-impact polystyrene cabinet and stainless steel grille. The cabinet and grille also accepts a variety of paints to match any décor.

Note: The Control 25AV exceeds Mil Spec 810 for humidity, salt spray, temperature & UV. IEC 529 IP-X4 splash-proof rating.

Speaker Terminals: The Control 25AV indoor/outdoor speaker utilizes screw-down speaker terminals. These nickel/zinc rust-resistant terminals ensure a secure input connection. A terminal cover is provided to further protect the speaker connections.

Mounting Options: The unique, global patent pending "InvisiBall" mounting method is simple to install, aims easily, and provides a high degree of theft deterrence.

SonicGuard Protection: JBL's exclusive SonicGuard overload protection is virtually inaudible to the listener, ensuring reliability while providing full fidelity sound.
