My take on the JBL E25BT wireless in-ear headphones? They punch WAY out of their price range. The build quality is particularly impressive. They are not waterproof, but they sport a strong, cloth-reinforced cable that rests comfortably behind your neck. And they offer a surprisingly clear and balanced sound.
Reliable signal and simple pairing process
I try out a lot of Bluetooth headphones and you'd be surprised how complicated some manufacturers make it to wirelessly pair up your phone. JBL makes it simple. As soon as I activated Bluetooth on my Galaxy S7 phone, it recognized the earbuds right away.
Whether my phone was in my pocket or on a counter across the room, the wireless signal was strong with no audio dropout. Later, when I fired up my tablet to watch west coast hockey highlights from the night before, the pairing process was just as effortless. You can jump back and forth from different Bluetooth devices without a problem.
Deeper and more detailed than I expected
Headphones at any price can struggle with Jay-Z's “Song Cry.” The female vocals and shimmering sample of Bobby Glen's “Sounds like a Love Song” juxtaposed with deep bass and boom bap drums end up sounding messy or muddy.
Through the E25BTs, the song's low end sounded full and on-point, while the upper mids and highs were well-defined and satisfying. While certainly not “audiophile,” I'd say these earbuds sound way better than “adequate” – this is max value for the price.
Hands-free, wireless calling
JBL also makes it easy to make and take phone calls wirelessly. There's a mic built in and a three-button remote on the cable. Use the remote to answer calls, skip songs, and play and pause music.

Overview: The JBL E25BT in-ear wireless headphones let you enjoy your music without being tethered to your audio source. With Bluetooth 4.1, you can seamlessly switch between your music and phone calls, even on separate devices. The lightweight E25BT weighs in at half an ounce so you barely know they're there. The E25BT has a 21" connecting cable with a universal in-line 3-button remote, and comes with a USB charging cable, and a storage pouch with a spring-loaded closure.
Drivers and Cable: The headphones are equipped with premium 8.6mm drivers to deliver full-range JBL Signature sound. The connecting cable has a 3-button remote and a compartment for its built-in battery. The included neck clip snaps onto the battery compartment, and allows you to attach the cable to your shirt collar to keep it secure.
Compatibility: The in-line 3-button universal remote and microphone is compatible with most smartphone, including Apple iOS and Android devices. The outer buttons control volume up and volume down, as well as next track (skip forward) and previous track (skip backward). The center button controls play/pause and answer/end call.
Battery: The E25BT is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery located in the center of the connecting cable. The battery charges in approximately 2 hours with the included USB charging cable. A fully charged battery provides up to 8 hours of continuous playback.
Ear Tips: The JBL E25BT in-ear wireless headphones include three pairs (Small, Medium, Large) of ergonomic silicone ear tips to give you a perfect fit. The ear bud nozzle is angled to fit comfortably in your ears.

Bought these for my senior citizen mom for Christmas. Paired them with her iPhone 7 & the first time she played pandora on them she literally said WOW! They sound beautiful! These are mom/grandma approved!
