About the iFetch

Eric A.

Keep your fetch-crazy dog happy and active

Lincoln — a senior dachshund adopted by our founder Bill Crutchfield — is a fetch fanatic. His enthusiasm for the game is charming, but often exhausting for his parents. That's where iFetch comes in — it fires out tennis balls for your dog to chase, bring back, and reload. This launcher includes three balls appropriately sized for small and medium-sized dogs.
iFetch lets you enjoy grown-up human time while your pup gets in a rousing game of "fetch."

Just show your pooch how to drop one in the hopper on top, and the tireless iFetch keeps the game going. It's great for your dog's fitness routine, and leaves you free to finish chores, play with the kids, or just relax and enjoy "fetch" as a spectator sport.

Keep your pet happy and healthy

Pets — like their owners — can become sedentary. We believe pet technology can help. Use a pet fitness tracker to determine how much food and exercise your companion needs. Then you can use an automatic feeder and an exercise toy like the iFetch to maintain a healthy balance. Even super-busy pet parents can look forward to a happy, healthy, loving life with pets.

Product Research

Features

Overview: The iFetch is an automatic ball launcher that will keep your dog (and you) entertained for hours. It can launch miniature tennis balls (1.5" diameter) up to 30 feet. iFetch can be safely used indoors or outdoors, and is powered by AC power or optional alkaline batteries. It is recommended for small to medium breeds. The iFetch comes with three mini tennis balls and an AC adapter. Additional miniature "Tuff" balls are available in a 5-pack.

Variable Launch Distances: You can set the iFetch to launch the miniature tennis balls at three different distances: 10 feet, 20 feet, or 30 feet. A button on the back of the unit lets you cycle through the settings.

Training: If your dog already loves to play fetch, using iFetch should be easy. If not, you should train your dog for about ten minutes, two to three times a day. Positive reinforcement (i.e. treats) may be required at first to get your pet to interact with the iFetch. You should teach him or her to stand behind or beside the launcher until they learn not to stand where they will be hit by the ball. It is best to supervise your pet until your dog is fully trained.

Power Requirements: The iFetch is powered by normal household current, and comes with an AC adapter with a 5' cord. For outdoor use, you can also operate the unit on 6 C-cell batteries (not included). Typical battery life of fully-charged C-cell batteries is approximately 30 hours.

Customer Q&A

Q
does anyone know if racquetballs will work in this?

A
If they are the same size they may. My small Kong balls work.

The iFetch ball surface is rather "short haired" , smaller and firmer than a racquetball. These product characteristics must prevent the ball from shedding and clogging the iFetch mechanism.
