About the Crutchfield ReadyHarness™ Service

Charlie Pastorfield

Save time and effort

Maybe you're incredibly busy. Maybe you just aren't handy with tools. Maybe you don't know that when you buy a car stereo from Crutchfield, we include a vehicle-specific wiring harness that you will have to connect to the wiring harness that comes with your car stereo. Crutchfield now offers a connection service for these harnesses, even for sophisticated wiring interfaces often required to retain important safety and entertainment features.

When you purchase our ReadyHarness service, we will open up your new car stereo, remove its wiring harness, then connect it — wire by wire — to the vehicle-specific harness (included with your package) that plugs into your vehicle's wiring. We will wire up every available connection that we can between the wiring interface and radio, and we will make connections for any steering wheel audio control adapter (sold separately) that might be needed — but keep in mind that you may have to make some further connections directly into your vehicle's wiring. The Crutchfield ReadyHarness is then packed back with your car stereo, so you'll be able to plug one end into the car stereo and the other into your vehicle.

ReadyHarness

          Potential crisis...

What's involved?

We use a custom-tooled industrial crimping machine to ensure that your ReadyHarness will stand the test of time... and summertime temperatures inside your car! Our wiring pro consults the wiring diagrams for your car stereo and for your vehicle to make sure that every connection is correct. For simpler harnesses, we'll send you a set of custom-made connectors that are plugged together. Of course, we can't make connections from your car stereo to wires in your car that are sometimes needed (like certain connections for a steering wheel control adapter or a parking brake wire for a DVD receiver), so you may have to connect a few wires for more complex applications.

ReadyHarness

         Crisis averted!

Why should I do this?

A Crutchfield ReadyHarness saves you significant time, effort, and potential heartache. In the past, you'd have to sit down with a crimping tool or soldering iron, match up the two harnesses wire by wire, according to function, and then make secure connections. Now, the ReadyHarness is ready to rock the minute you open up your new car stereo. And you'll avoid the pain of turning on your new radio only to find out that you've wired it incorrectly.

Please note!

Please remember that it'll take some time for us to build your ReadyHarness, so plan on your new car stereo arriving at least a day later than usual.

Listen to our customers

"I am absolutely thrilled at finally getting the wiring harness and vehicle adapter connected properly. It certainly significantly reduces the installation time/effort. Not sure why you didn't start this years ago."  — Bob M.

"Unless you do this often, why take the time and the chance that a connection is not correct? Then the time to figure out what wire is not working, etc.? You all fixed me up with one wiring harness. I plug into the radio and two plugs on the other end directly into the car. Swap a radio in 15 minutes. How cool is that?" — #crimpinainteasy

"Just wanted to drop you an email and say your adapter/stereo harness worked perfectly! I cut the installation time by at least 1.5 hours enlisting your service! Thanks again for a great job."  — Tom L.

"AMAZING!!  I was a Crutchfield  guy back in the day, installing various car stereos in my cars.  There always was chopping, wiring and a fair amount of brain surgery.  I just installed a JVC CD player in my wife's Honda Accord in 15 minutes, thanks to your prewired loom and excellent instructions!
Thanks again for a painless process!!!"  —  Ethan S.

Wire harness to bypass stock amp in 2018 Acura TLX. Want to run aftermarket speakers that are 4 OHM. Acura runs speakers at 2 Ohm?
    scott  Mar 23, 2024
    1 answer
    A
Our ReadyHarness is a service we provide when connecting your new radio package to your new radio before shipping, Scott. You can use 4-ohm speakers with the factory amp, but you will see a loss in volume compared to the stock 2-ohm speakers. If you want to install an aftermarket amp/processor for the best possible performance, it will need to be hardwired into your vehicle and we have no vehicle-specific harnesses or adapters available that can help. If an aftermarket amp/processor is not in your plans, you can always use highly efficient 3-ohm speakers like the Infinity Primus 603CF components below that fit the front door location of your Acura. The Infinity will provide the best possible performance when using the factory amplifier. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108P603CF/Infinity-Primus-603CF.html

Hey I was asking if there was anyway i could by the readyharness on its own after buying a radio, i realized i needed it. I bought a Boss 2 Din for my ranger, and want to make things easier without saddering?
    garrett  Mar 08, 2024
    1 answer
    A
Greetings Garrett. Thank you for your question. The only way we can sell the ready harness service is at the point of sale when you purchase the stereo from us. Its not an actual harness, its a service of making all the connections we can to the vehicle wire adapter. If you purchased the Boss stereo from us, you can return it, reorder it and add the service.

Why are people bypasses the parking brake for a radio? Is the reverse wire a solid purple wire in the harness?
    joe  Mar 08, 2024
    1 answer
    A
Greetings Joe. This is not an actual harness. Just a picture of what it may look like when assembled. The ready harness service is just a service we perform when you purchase a stereo and vehicle specific wire adapter from us. Instead of customers like yourself connecting all the wires yourself, we offer this service.

    drake  Feb 09, 2024

    A
Greetings Drake. Thank you for your question. This is a service, not an actual harness. For $24.99 we would connect the stereos included wire harness to the vehicle specific harness. You can contact one of our advisors at 800-324-9695 with your vehicle information and they can assist finding the right installation parts for your install.

No stereo in 2000 gmc jimmy are stereo plugs missing had a bose in it factory. How do I wire it up it also has cd player in console?
    robert  Feb 02, 2024
    1 answer
    A
Greetings Robert. Thank you for your question. The ready harness service is us connecting the vehicle specific adapter to the new stereos wire harness. It can be purchased at the same time you purchase a stereo and install package from Crutchfield. Factory CD players will not work when the radio is replaced with an aftermarket stereo. Please contact one of our product advisors at 800-324-9695 to help find the correct wiring adapter for your vehicle.

can a harness be made for a 2021 chevy blazer non-bose be made?
    robert jason  Nov 26, 2023
    1 answer
    A
Greetings Robert. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately at this time 11/26/23, there is no installation gear to replace your factory radio. The ready harness service is us connecting the harness that come in the stereos box, to the adapter that fits a certain vehicle, so our customers would not have to make all the wiring connections thenselves.

    Q
I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 ST and I am looking into purchasing the Pioneer SPH-10BT with a ready harness, but it is not allowing me to add the ready harness to my cart, is there a reason for that??
    zachary  Oct 13, 2023
    1 answer
    A
It does look like ReadyHarness is available for your Pioneer SPH-10BT package, Zachary. We had a slight dropout on the website yesterday with ReadyHarness but that should be fixed now, allowing you to add it on a web order. We can always apply it to your order here on our end if available for your specific install, so give us a call at 1-800-324-9695 anytime you have website issues, and an Advisor would be happy to get your order placed over the phone. We are here to help!

    Q
can I use a non OnStar connection on a car that has OnStar but not used?
    scott  Sep 23, 2023
    1 answer
    A
This depends on the specific vehicle, Scott. With some vehicles we have interface options that can retain OnStar, and some that do not. If you do not use your OnStar, you can potentially select a harness that does not retain that feature but will provide function to your new radio. With whatever installation interface you choose with your radio, most times we can apply ReadyHarness to make the install easier for you if you are tackling the job yourself! Use our online Vehicle Guide in the link below to enter your ride's exact year, make, model, and specific trim. Choose your favorite radio, and we will list all the compatible install packages we have. You may have installation kit options that will allow you to install the radio but won't retain OnStar. If you would like an Advisor to put together the best package for you and get your order placed, give us a call at 1-800-324-9695 and we would be happy to help. https://www.crutchfield.com/m_266150/Car-Stereos.html

    danxza  Jul 27, 2023

I have in imported 1996 Honda Integra Type R. Will the head unit and ReadyHarness for the 1996 Acura Integra work for me?
    derrik  Jul 01, 2023
    1 answer
    A
That is an amazing ride, Derrik! The Japanese Domestic Market cars should have the same radio harness, though we can't guarantee a fit as we only have US cars in our Vehicle Guide research. You can still take advantage of our ReadyHarness service if you would like to save some time making those connections on install. If you do need to re-splice any connections the crimp connectors can be removed easily!

Will this work for a 2000 nissan frontier and can I buy just it if I already have the stereo?

This service can only be ordered when both the new stereo and new stereo installation gear are ordered together. You can still order the radio installation gear (including the proper wiring harness) but are not eligible to order this service with it since you already have the stereo.

so I have a question, I recently cut out the factory harness to my factory stereo, it was mangled and all chopped up. I need a harness for my stock radio from my vehicle that is compatible with bose sound system is that something that is possible with the ready harness?
    honzy  Mar 19, 2023
    1 answer
    A
Greetings Chris, and thank you for your question. A ready harness service, is not a harness at all, but its the assembly labor of us connecting an aftermarket stereos harness, to a vehicle specific wire adapter when a customer buys the stereo and install gear from us. That's easier for them to install a stereo by themselves without the need to make all the wire connections themselves. You might be able to find an OEM radio connector with pigtail to slice into what's left of your radio wiring. Metra is the company that makes those for most vehicles. We just don't stock them. Enter your vehicle here, and look for OEM harness in the parts list. http://www.metraonline.com/

Greetings Chris. Sorry your factory radios wiring is chopped up. This ready harness service, is not really a harness at all. Its a service to have us connect all the new stereos wiring to a vehicle specific wire adapter before we ship the new stereo and install package. If you just want to re install the factory radio, and you need an OEM radio harness replacement, there is a good chance Metra makes one. Check here: http://www.metraonline.com/

We can apply ReadyHarness service to a radio and install kit package for your 1994 Buick Park Avenue, Matthew. In the link below is a Kenwood digital media unit that fits your ride, with an install package that retains steering wheel audio controls. Since ReadyHarness is a service we provide, you cannot apply it unless you purchase your radio AND install gear from us. ReadyHarness can only be applied AT the time of purchase. You can make ready harness for any car? Even an old camry 2002 xle? Mine has jbl. Radio store were asking if i have jbl. What's jbl for?
    bayani  Feb 05, 2023
    1 answer
    A
Greetings Bayani, and thank you for your question. The JBL system was an audio system upgrade offered by Toyota for may years. It is a step up from the basic radio. Our ready harness is an option for most vehicles including your 2002 Camry. The ready harness is a service, not an actual harness. We built to order and can add that service in when you purchase a stereo, and the installation gear from Crutchfield. If you have an existing stereo you want to install, we cannot make the ready harness.

ReadyHarness service is a feature where we will connect any wires we can before shipping the package to you, Joseph. This can seriously ease the install at home if you are tackling the job yourself. We have two physical install locations in Harrisonburg and Charlottesville, VA that you can book an install appointment at if you are local. If you are not in our area, you will have to find an installer near you. I hope this helps!

We can only apply ReadyHarness to radio packages purchased from us AT the time of purchase. If you need an easy way to connect your gear purchased elsewhere at home these Posi-connectors in the link below are a super choice! I used the live chat option to ask why i couldn't add the readyharness service to my cart and was told it's currently unavailable. when will this service be available again?
    kaedin  Jan 13, 2023
    1 answer
    A
Greetings Kaedin, and thank you for your question. There could be multiple reasons the ready harness is not available. The build list is at its maximum to fulfill the assembly and get out in a timely fashion, The main wiring interface is on backorder, the vehicle has a factory amplifier that might need a bypass, or you are ordering a stereo like the Alpine with their add on amplifier, and your vehicle has a factory amplifier. The only way for me to give a best answer is to have your vehicle info, and the stereo you are wanting to install.

Will the Redi harness service also enable me to just plug in my factory, installed camera harness which was purchased with my stereo?
    rsoreo  Jan 11, 2023
    1 answer

The Readyharness is designed to preconnect as many of the wires as we can before shipping the order to you to get it close to 'plug and play'. In some cases there may be a few connections you may have to do and, if you wanted to verify for your particular case, you can give us a call at 800.324.9695 and our friendly advisors can take a look at your set up and get you taken care of!

I took a look at your package specifically, Robin. The Scosche CRTVW01 camera retention module does require some connections to the PAC RP4-VW11 interface for your Volkswagen Tiguan, and we will attach any we have access to here before shipping with Readyharness. We don't guarantee complete plug and play but we do strive to get you as close as possible. If you do have any snags on install, please reach out to our Technical Support line at 1-888-292-2575, you get that support for life with any order!

    Q
My bose system has an external connection to a powered subwoofer at the trunk. I wan to retain the original Bose amp, speakers, and my Rockford Fostgate powered sub in the trunk. Is this possible with your harness?
    victor  Jan 09, 2023
    1 answer
    A
The Readyharness is just a passive service that we offer to connect the wires from whatever radio you are getting to the corresponding vehicle specific adapter wires you would be getting so the ability to retain the Bose and Rockford capabilities would depend more on what adapters we have for your vehicle. We have friendly advisors that can help build a cart with everything you would need so please give us a call at 800.324.9695 and we will get you taken care of!

    Q
I bought a ready harness for a 1998 Nissan maxima would that same harness work for a 2003 Nissan maxima with a DMX 706s?
    dcast  Nov 20, 2022
    1 answer
    A
It does appear Daniel that the same Metra 70-7550 harness in the link below is used for both those years in the Maxima as long as they are non-Bose. You will need to make sure the 2003 Maxima is non-Bose, but it appears you can still use your Readyharness and Metra adapter. You will also need a different dash kit for install, that is in the second link below. Hello. How come this service is not able to be added onto the cart? It was available about two weeks ago.
    daniel  Oct 31, 2022

    A
The service is still available but to add it, you will be prompted for the service once you add your installation gear to your cart after you add your radio. If you are having trouble adding it, you can give us a call at 800.324.9695 to speak with an advisor or hop on chat and we will make sure your cart has what you need.

    nathan  Oct 31, 2022

It certainly should be compatible for your vehicle when you are purchasing the installation gear at the same time as that radio. If you are having trouble with that please give us a call at 800.324.9695 so an advisor can get that set up for you.

    richard  Oct 31, 2022

ReadyHarness is only offered when purchasing a radio and vehicle specific installation kit package on the same order with us. We do not have spare harnesses for radios, nor do we have an option to send your harness in to be wired.

Hello, I'm trying to put a jvc kw-v330bt radio into my 2007 honda accord ex-sedan will it fit?
    preston  Oct 31, 2022
    1 answer
    A
So it's quite possible that you could use the Readyharness service but it is only compatible when you are getting a unit from us and a wiring harness at the same time and then we make those connections before shipping the order. If you already have the radio or wiring harness then we, unfortunately, would not be able to to that service.

Greetings Huynguyen, and thank you for your question. It looks like we are not offering a steering wheel control interface for the 2017 CR-V. Metra makes one called the AXSWC, they say it is compatible with your vehicle, unfortunately we do not carry that model at this time.

I want my mechanic to install this device. Do I really need this if using a mechanic to install?
    gregory  Sep 15, 2022
    1 answer
    A
This is a true toss-up here Gregory. Your mechanic is most likely competent and has the tools on hand to connect your new radio to the vehicle specific install harness we would pair with your radio. You could potentially save some money but it could take them longer to install, costing you too! Adding ReadyHarness could potentially hit the easy button for them, making install faster and costing you less! I would reach out to your mechanic and see if there would be a difference in price specifically if we wired it, and IF so I would add the Readyharness. If your mechanic is going to charge you a basic flat hourly rate for radio install then it's a good idea to save the money and let them make the connections. I hope this helps Gregory!

Will this fit to sony Xav-ax1000 in my 2004 toyota 4runner without JBL?
    dexter  Sep 05, 2022
    1 answer
    A
This is not an actual harness. It is a service that can be ordered with the purchase of a car receiver and the necessary installation package for your 4Runner. We no longer have the XAV-AX1000 to sell. Because of this, we are not able to offer this service for that radio and install gear. We have other radios in stock and advisors that can be reached by calling 1-800-324-9695 who can give a personal recommendation on a different radio to get.

    peter  Sep 04, 2022
    1 answer
    A
Greetings Peter, and thank you for your question. Unfortunately we are not set up to have you or anyone to send in their harness for us to connect. I think it would be two many possibilities of error. Is it the right harness for that radio for one. I just don't think we will ever be set up for that unless we some day carry the extra radio harness's ourselves. Wish I had better news.

We can only apply Readyharness on radios that we sell as a package, Jimi. This JVC-KW-V350BT in the link below is a contender, and with the right install package we could apply Readyharness on it to ease install for you! You will need to find something made to turn the wiring needs for the radio to the wire configuration used by aftermarket radios to complete the install and we are not aware of any place that makes such a product. There may not be enough of a demand for such a harness to be premade. I'm thinking your best chance of finding such a harness is to check Nissan forums for others that may have used the radio in a different vehicle.

The ReadyHarness is a *service*. It is available on MOST purchases when you get the radio, the needed installation gear, and then opt for us to pre-wire the gear for you. The ReadyHarness is not a physical harness itself, it is the service of us pre-connecting the gear you purchase with us. For help with this, reach out to one of our advisors: (1-800-324-9695) or online chat.

I cannot answer the specific connection question. What I can tell you is that I have bought several of these kits. I tend to buy "project" cars and I add a modern audio system as my commute was long. Each time I have been able to simply plug and play the devices because Crutchfield did the hard work. Everything is tested and they stand behind their work. One car, maybe my Lincoln I was having trouble with a sound issue and I worked with Crutchfield tech folks and they were great....

I want to install a sony dsx gs-80 in my 2012 chrysler 200 limited, this radio has a internal amp and requires a seperate 12 gauge power wire for that amp to work properly, does this ready harness at least give me a exposed wire i can just splice the power wire to and run to my battery? I have no idea how to wire the power wire to these high powered stereos and i really would like to know.
    ryandohm  Dec 21, 2020
    1 answer
    A
My installs have been to Fords & GM (F150 x 3, GMC 2007 & Ford Escape 2011) - all Pioneer head units - but it is common for there to be a "power wire" coming from radio that can be used to turn on amp or activate power antenna. I know on the GMC Sierra - that wire had to be connected to turn on the amp - otherwise there was no sound.

What's the polarity on the OEM speaker wire like how Do i noe which one is positive n negative when connecting a hi/low adapter?

    A
This ReadyHarness service will not help with installing a line output converter like you are referring to. As for the polarity of the speaker wire, that is usually addressed by the color coding of the stock wiring and that information is something that our technical support usually has on hand to help our customers with their installations. If you purchased your converter from us, I'd recommend calling them using their direct dial phone number that we included on the order invoice.

This way we can open the car stereo's box along with the radio install harnesses box to get both harnesses and connect the wires together. We do not sell that Dual receiver, but we do have a lot of other receivers and the install gear needed to make them work in the 2016 Grand Caravans. cj  Sep 21, 2020
    1 answer
    A
Hi CJ. I do apologize that you have been unable to add the Ready Harness service to your cart with your stereo purchase. The reason you are not able to add the service to your order, can be a result of several different factors. 1) Either the Ready Harness service isn't available for your vehicle due to wiring and electrical compatibilities 2) the Ready Harness service may have been temporarily suspended through our site in order for our team to keep up with the supply and demand of the service, or 3) you do not have the installation products required for your installation in your cart. Please contact us via online chat or by phone at 1-800-324-9695. We will be happy to take a look at this for you. If the Ready Harness is available for your vehicle, but it is only turned off on our site, an Advisor can place that order for you over the phone.

Hi Chris. The Ready Harness service is a custom harness that is built with both the wiring harness that adapt to your vehicle's factory stereo plugs, as well as to the pigtail harness that comes on the back of your new stereo. We are only able to offer the Ready Harness to customers who are purchasing the stereo and the installation package at the same time. If you already have the receiver you plan to use, the Ready Harness option would unfortunately not be available to purchase. Please call us at 1-800-324-9695, or chat with us online if we can help to answer any questions.

    brandi  Mar 12, 2020

That is correct. The wiring service requires we have both the vehicle harness and radio harness to connect. If you have the radio harness we wouldn't be able to complete the wiring.

Hi-the Crutchfield wiring harness may allow for this. Speak to a tech to be sure that you can connect ti the speakers without going through the amp. Worst case may be to locate the speaker wire at the amp and patch around it. Again, the tech should be able to assist.

    michael  Nov 23, 2019
    1 answer
    A
Hi Michael, thank you for your question. The Ready Harness service is something we offer our customers who are purchasing a stereo, and the needed vehicle installation gear at the same time. Our technicians crimp the connections from the factory harness adapter and the stereo that is being purchased, so when the new stereo is received, most of the wiring has already be completed by us, and it cuts down on the customers installation time. We will however, be able to provide you with the correct adapter harnesses for your vehicle. Please chat with an Advisor online or by phone at 1-800-324-9695. They will need to gather some additional information about your Explorer, to ensure we send you the proper harnesses.

No our ReadyHarness is a service in which we connect the harness from an aftermarket radio to the vehicle specific one. It is only available if you are purchasing a radio form us. If you want to add amps to your factory radio you probably want a digital signal processor or line output converter. The ReadyHarness is a service where we connect the vehicle specific harnesses and SWC harness ( is applicable) to the new aftermarket radio harness. It is not a replacement for the recommended install package harness for your vehicle, it is an additional service we offer for those that want the majority of the wiring done for them!

Hi Mike, thank you for your question! The ready harness service can only be performed if a customer is purchasing their stereo and wiring from us at the same time. The stereo's wiring is actually a part of that harness service. Unfortunately, Boss stereos do not support the adapters needed for steering wheel controls, but we do have the harnesses needed to connect your new stereo to your factory plug in. Please chat with an Advisor online, or by phone at 1-800-324-9695. They will be able to build a cart for you that includes the wiring you will need for your install.

Car stereos and vehicle wiring harnesses come with manuals that provide their wire code listings. In most cases, they are standardized so, connecting them yourself is just a matter of matching the colors. Our "ReadyHarness" pre-connect service attaches the leads of the stereo's harness to the leads of the vehicle harness before your order ships. So, it makes your stereo installation that much easier. The vehicle harness & stereo harness will still need to be connected. If you will not be powering any speakers off the new stereo's internal amplification, the connection of the speaker wires in the harness isn't necessary but the pre-connect service is still helpful for all of the other required connections.

I have a Pioneer Avic-6100 already installed in my Lexus ES300 (2000) but want to change the unit to an Alpine INE-W977HD. Do I need only the Crutchfield ReadyHarness to do the swap or do I need another wire for my backup camera (Boyo Brand)?
    lexrex300  Mar 17, 2018
    1 answer
    A
The Pioneer radio you have installed and this Alpine both use the same mounting kit and same wiring interface to be installed into your ES300. This means you already have the vehicle specific gear needed to complete the install. If you want to reuse that gear, then this ReadyHarness service of ours cannot be used because we don't have a way to connect the Alpine's wires to the harness you already have in place. However, if you order new gear for that too, then this service can be used to get us to connect the Alpine's wires to the wires on the wiring interface. This Alpine receiver comes with a backup camera wiring adapter that allows it to work with a Boyo brand that has a composite video cable for connecting to a radio. I paid the extra to have my system prewired so that it was simply plug and play so to say, no screwing around soldering wires and things. I don't recall how much extra it cost, but it was well worth the money. Would never consider not doing it again. I had a 2007 Camry, can't speak for your car.

With the ready Metra harness for my Outlander sport and it has an alpine CDE-152 headunit I am looking into wiring in an amplifier and not the alpine power pack, is there a remote wire to wire into for another after market amplifier into the pre made harness or the back of the alpine receiver?

If the wiring harness for your Outlander does not use the remote wire needed to turn on an amp, it will be left available for you to use to connect the new amp when using our ReadyHarness service. I recommend contacting an advisor on 1-800-324-9695 to check your specific model Outlander My Bio: http://www.crutchfield.com/Support/Bio.aspx?bio=101

I cannot answer specifically about the Jetta application. However I installed a harness in an 02 ford excursion which Crutchfield pressured for me and it works great. It saved me a lot of time and made the installation very easy.

The antenna adapter will need to be plugged directly into your vehicle's antenna--so we would not be able to make that connection for you ahead of time with the ReadyHarness service. For more details on installation in your vehicle, please contact an Advisor directly by phone (888.955.6000) or online chat. Thanks!

As far as I'm aware there are 3 options: 1) you can study the schematics and connect each wire individually using wire crimps; 2) you may be able to find an aftermarket harness that connects your particular stereo to your particular car; or 3) you can have crutchfield set up the harness for you so it just plugs into your car. I have done it each of the 3 ways. Option 1 is a tedious pain and you can mis-crimp a wire without knowing it. Total waste of time as far as I'm concerned. Option 2 is pretty good if you can find that particular harness and be sure it's the right one. Option 3 is the best in my mind- no guessing and it's plug and play when you install it (after you get the panel open). Any way you go, the crutchfield customer service is really helpful.

Thanks for your question. If you are purchasing the receiver and wiring kit then yes. Crutchfield will connect the wires for you. This is just a service to help save you time and to avoid any confusion with the connections. All wires may not be connected, depending on the vehicle some connections have to be done manually. If you have further questions don't hesitate to contact one of our product advisors by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They should be able to help answer your question.
