Overview: The Nikon Prostaff Tripod (#847) is equipped with a 3-way panhead with quick release camera mount (with a universal 1/4" mounting screw), and 3-section legs. It has an adjustable center column, and a leveling bubble. The tripod works with select binoculars, spotting scopes, fieldscopes, and cameras with a 1/4"-20 universal threaded socket. The Nikon Prostaff Tripod weighs only 2 pounds 12 ounces.
Elevator: The tripod has a 12" elevator with a crank handle that allows you to easily and smoothly raise or lower the height of the camera or scope.
Legs: The 3-section aluminum legs feature locking radial leg braces for maximum stability and oversized quick-lever leg locks. The non-removable rubber feet are self-leveling, and provide a stable footing on most any surface.

This seemed the best out of the three available. I like the fact that the maximum height is 61.75"! I will be using this with my Sony though, not a Nikon! [ Mark Apr 09, 2018 ]
