I have one already with same type TV and it works great. I had to loosen some of the screws to make the adjustments easier when the TV is attached just don't loosen too much, 1/4 turn should be sufficient. [ Steven  Feb 12, 2017 ]

Because I was told the LG OLED TV mount is different from others, it is lower. So I probably can't use my existing wall mount which is already on the wall. [ Albert  Jan 28, 2017 ]

8 questions already asked

I do not believe so- it seems to require a special mount that uses 2 studs [ BRYAN A  Oct 16, 2017 ]
If you look at page 5 of the Installation Manual, you can see that the two stamped bars expect to be attached with a total of 10 screws into the two wall studs. Mounting using one stud is of course not recommended by the manufacturer, and should only be undertaken with the understanding that more substantial screws will have to be used, e.g., GRK screws, and that there will be much less of a rotational resistance for keeping the TV level than would be achieved with mounting according to the directions. Any basis in law for recovering damages for a damaged TV due to mounting failure would seem to be impaired. I solved my wall location problem by making two 1/4-inch thick x 4-inch wide x the required length aluminum plates (T6 temper) to stretch between two studs and attached it with 12 GRK screws. I mounted the TV interface to the plates at the location that put it where I wanted it on the wall. This was a bit of a measuring, machining, and tapping exercise that requires the appropriate tooling. [ KIRBY A.  Oct 16, 2017 ]
I wouldn't. This TV is light but it's big! So I wouldn't chance it since the mount would not be as stable as if you would use a two stud application. [ Jack  Oct 16, 2017 ]
i would strongly recommend not trying that. my studs were too far apart to use this mount as well. I bought a piece of wood to attach the mount too (and the wood was mounted to the studs). good luck. [ Joe  Oct 16, 2017 ]
It should fit it as the curvature is not significant between mounting holes. Having said that not sure why you want to wall mount a curved TV. This is a slim mount and combined with a flat OLED is a really unobtrusive fit. Make sure that you have power in the right spot and preferably recessed. [ Mike  Sep 24, 2017 ]
No, your OLED 65EG9600 is a 2015 model year. The LG EZ Slim Wall-Mount (OTW420B) has been specifically designed for 2016 LG OLED TVs; including the B6P, C6P, E6P, & G6P series - 55 inch and 65 inch versions. [ Michael  Sep 22, 2017 ]
No, the 65EG9600 is a 2015 model with only 2 mount points. The LG EZ Slim Wall-Mount (OTW420B) has been specifically designed for 2016 LG OLED TVs; including the B6P, C6P, E6P, & G6P series - 55 inch and 65 inch versions. [ Michael  Sep 22, 2017 ]
I don't know for sure but it does fit a 55 6p [ William  Jun 28, 2017 ]
I am not really sure about the fit. I employed another, more straight forward wall mount and threw this one away. [ Steven  Jun 27, 2017 ]
Yes [ DEE  Jun 27, 2017 ]
Yes. [ EUGENE  Jun 01, 2017 ]
It is made for the LG OLED TV. You get mounts for the curved and flat screen. Screw the mounts into the back of your unit, lift the TV, slide the mounts through the appropriate holes and you are done. [ Leslie G.  May 31, 2017 ]
not sure. It fit my 55" LG tv perfectly [ THOMAS A  May 30, 2017 ]
I don't have that model, but I don't see e7 products listed for this mount at LG's web site. I suggest looking up the e7 model at LG's website to see which mounts support it. [ KIRBY A.  May 30, 2017 ]
Hi Lee, yes it does fit. You will want to consider the installation of a recessed plug as the supplied tv plug is not 90 degrees and it hinders the ability to be positioned closer to the wall. Joe [ joseph  May 30, 2017 ]
I believe the LG OTW420B will fit the LG OLED65E7P. I used this save wall mount for my LG OLED55. [ Michael  May 29, 2017 ]
I have my 65 hanging on the wall with this bracket. The bracket is easy to install and it will take 2 people to hang the TV on the bracket. The only challenge is connecting cables after it is hung. The unit is over a credenza which makes access very limited. So if possible, connect all cables prior to hanging if furniture is beneath the unit. Eric [ ERIC  May 29, 2017 ]
The OTW420B is listed in the manual as the proper wall mount for the 65E7P. I have used this mount for last years model and it is a lovely piece of work. I highly recommend it, but it will only work with the supplied LG mounting hardware. It is not a standard VESA mount even though it uses the VESA spacing. [ Frank  May 29, 2017 ]
I am not a technical or mechanical genius for sure, but the guy that I paid to install my LG OLED TV had no problems with any of the parts. Everything was used, and fit properly. Sorry I can't be of more help. [ Sherri  May 29, 2017 ]
This will most likely work with your 55EG9100 as it fits my OLED55B6P. [ Michael  Nov 15, 2016 ]
This is a nice assembly, but the list of products on page 4 of the instructions are limited to OLED55/65 B6, C6, E6, G6 and the 55/65UH95. It is worth noting that this unit is designed for solid walls, and studded wall where the TV mount is to be located between two adjacent studs. If the decor requires mounting at a particular point, say over a stud, the structure is not built to accommodate that. It is possible, however, to fabricate a replacement set of mounts that this assembly can be mounted to to simulate a solid structure or, equivalently, a longer mounting bracket. I am using 34.5 x 4 x 0.25 inches 6061-T651 aluminum for this purpose. A drill press will be needed for best results. [ KIRBY A.  Nov 14, 2016 ]
The back of the TV can be as close as about 1.25 inches, cables allowing. The front distance from the wall depends on the TV. [ KIRBY A.  Nov 14, 2016 ]
You can get very close...I would measure for you but I am out of the country at the moment. I do remember that the lack of a right angle plug did hamper the ability to be closer. Overall I am pleased but would consider the installation of an oblique angle power / coax outlet box. [ joseph  Nov 11, 2016 ]
The tv sticks out 7" from the wall. [ Michelle  Nov 11, 2016 ]
About 1 1/2" Depending on wires [ GEORGE  Nov 11, 2016 ]
I had this mount recently installed and am very happy with it. It's very sturdy. The TV screen is 8" from the wall. [ SCOTT  Nov 11, 2016 ]
This is a remarkably thin mount and ingeniously designed. Barring any cable issues, I think it could place the back of your tv as close as 1-2 inches from the wall. I had to run mine further out and slightly tilted for the best 3D registration. Hope this helps! [ Frank  Nov 11, 2016 ]
Yes it will and as far as I know, it's the only mount that works for this set. I tried a different mount but due to the configuration it wouldn't work. Eventually I uncovered that the LG mount was the only one on the market that worked for the 65 inch. Hope this helps [ Joseph  Sep 07, 2016 ]
Fortunately a 55-inch TV is much wider and higher than this mount. I am planning to put a box above the mount and route the wires from my 55B6P around the mount aided by cable clamps. Note that the location of joists will be a determining factor. The actual mechanism that moves is only the central half of the image. [ KIRBY A.  Nov 14, 2016 ]
