Q
Will this fit the base model to replace a cracked faceplate?

A
That dash kit is designed to integrate a double din aftermarket radio. It may not work with a factory radio. You can check with one of our product advisors for fit on your specific vehicle here: https://www.crutchfield.com/I-rET1c290/S-SUliZgSTXG7/support/ContactUs.aspx

The picture of the trim panel shows 2 smaller circular holes to the right of the AC controls that my 2007 Titan does not have. What are they for?

The two cut outs are for additional options. My Titan did not require them either. Just leave the cutouts in. They are hardly noticeable. The picture just makes them look more apparent. This piece will look like your factory piece. I installed this in a 2005 titan xe.

I do not recall the what they are for but you don't have to remove them. Other than that I couldn't believe how good the fit was and the color matched perfect.

Q
My oem panel has an aux input location which this unit does not. I would like to mount the jack in the same whole even if not used. Is there a reason this panel does not have it?

A
It's generic, cut a hole in the new panel to retain the aux. input.
john  Nov 21, 2014
A
The aux port is part of the old radio you are replacing. There is no need for this hole in the new replacement panel as it no longer exist after the stock radio is removed

It may be the wrong panel for your application There are other options available
