Features

Injection-molded Polypropylene Woofers: The woofers are constructed from injection-molded polypropylene. This process of cone molding assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity. It is also lighter weight and more rigid for decreased distortion and improved bass response. Each woofer uses a treated-cloth surround.

1" PPTA Balanced-dome Tweeters: Each speaker features a 1" PPTA balanced-dome tweeter. PPTA is a high-quality construction material with quick response (rivaling very expensive titanium) and significant internal loss, resulting in accurate transient response and limited tweeter resonance.

Q
How many watts do they have?

A
Greetings Mario, and thank you for your question. Speakers are rated for how much wattage they can take. Power (wattage), comes from a stereo, or an amplifier. These Kenwoods are rated for up to 20 watts RMS. Basically radio power.

It reduces the price you pay for your next purchase. If you already have points use them on current purchase to reduce your purchase charge!

Q
my current speakers have 9 ohms will these work with only 4 ohms ?

A
Yes. They will work fine. They will not be as clear or loud as the 4 ohm BUT they will work fine.

YEs they should
richard d  Jun 24, 2015

The 4 ohm Kenwood's will work but will extract roughly twice the power from the connected radio or amp than the 9 ohm speakers did. As long at the radio and amp can handle that, you will be good.

If your current speaker are 9 ohm, then the Kenwood's at 4 ohm would extract roughly twice the power from the connected radio or amplifier. As long as the amp can handle that, you would be good.

Yes they will cause my old speakers in my 94 GMC were 8.5 ohms and i replaced them with these and they sound amazing.

Q
Does this actually fit a 1992 Chevy s10 extended cab? I've read reviews on amazon saying it doesn't and I just want to know if anyone here has done it. Also, are the highs, mids, and lows all there? Is it dangerous to crank up the volume?

For details on fit or installation please contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and give you the details on if this will fit and what you will need for an installation in your vehicle.
