Bluetooth Speaker/Two-Way Radio: The Dreamwave Audio Venture is an all-in-one portable Bluetooth speaker and walkie-talkie two way radio. You'll be able to wirelessly stream music from your Bluetooth source device to the Venture, as well as receive phone calls from your Blueooth-enabled smartphone on the Venture and communicate back-and-forth via two-way radio communication.

Rugged & Portable Design: The Venture's rugged construction and IPX5 splashproof rating protects it against water, dust, sand, & snow. Its portable design allows you to easily hook the Venture onto a D-ring, making it the ideal outdoor activity speaker on the go. It also comes with a convenient neck-strap.

5W Speaker: The Venture features a 5W powered, 1.75" full-range driver with anti-distortion circuitry for quality sound. The integrated 360° omnidirectional sound effect processor delivers an exceptional balance of loudness and bass performance for its size.

Walkie-Talkie: The walkie-talkie section features a 3 mile clear sight range to keep you in constant communication with your other group members. It can be connected with other Ventures and even other existing walkie-talkies for convenience.

Built-In Bluetooth: The Dreamwave Audio Venture features built-in Bluetooth (version 4.0), so you can wireless connect to your Bluetooth-enabled Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad, Android smartphone/tablet, Windows Phone/PC, Mac computer/laptop, or other Bluetooth source devices. The Venture supports Bluetooth music streaming (A2DP/AVRCP) and Bluetooth hands-free communication (HFP), as well as a simple secure pairing (SSP) procedure.

• Wireless Audio Streaming: The Venture can stream music wirelessly from your Bluetooth-enabled device; such as your smartphone, tablet, computer, laptop, or other device. You'll be able to control Play & Pause functions from the Venture. You will need to continue to use your Bluetooth-enabled device for advanced music navigation and to view song/artist information.
• Hands-Free Communication: The Venture has a built-in microphone so you can use it as a hands-free speaker phone. Use the Venture to answer and end phone calls. You will continue to use your Bluetooth mobile phone to manually enter a phone number, phonebook access, voice-dialing and other advanced calling functions.
• Simple Secure Pairing: A single button press pairs your Bluetooth-enabled device with the  Venture. Once paired, the Venture will automatically re-connect with your device when in wireless range (up to 33').

Aux Input: In addition to wireless Bluetooth connectivity, the Venture is fitted with a 3.5mm Aux input for directly connecting an external portable audio device that features an analog output or headphone jack.

Rechargeable Battery: The Dreamwave Audio Venture is powered by a built-in, rechargeable lithium battery (3600mAh) that provides up to 12 hours of continuous playback time at moderate volume levels or only 5 hours at max volume. You can easily recharge the battery using the included USB cable and a free USB port on your computer or 3rd party AC/USB adapter (sold separately).
