Our take on the NAD C 516BEE (Factory Recertified) by Crutchfield's Deia Z.
Factory recertified savings on this wolf in sheep's clothing
Don't be fooled by its unassuming looks and modest price tag. NAD designed the C 516BEE with the same principles behind their higher-end CD players — performance, value, and simplicity. It features meticulously laid out circuits consisting of carefully chosen components, plus isolated power supplies for the analog and digital circuit boards. This ensures that the delicate digital circuitry is protected from noise and interference, for a new level of warmth, detail, and musicality from your CD collection.
The C 516BEE's front panel looks very clean, and gives you easy access to basic functions without a lot of extra stuff getting in the way. You'll enjoy playback from a variety of discs, ranging from regular CDs to home-burned CD-Rs filled with MP3 and WMA files.
