It's just shorter. It's a good quality cable though. I haven't had any trouble with it. [ KENNETH COONS Dec 31, 2015 ]
Sorry, no. Apple changed the functions of the pins in the 30 pin Apple dock connector prior to the release of the Lightning connector but after the release of the Alpine X100 so, any newer Apple products that feature the Lightning connector will not be recognized by the X100; even with this adapter. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you there. [ Ryan Nov 06, 2015 ] Staff
I am using it to play music on my 154BT it works fine. When you first use it. The system may not recognize it at first. Just unplug it wait a few seconds and plug it back in. It may ask you to configure your phone to the system mine did. After that your on your way. [ kevin Mar 26, 2015 ]
Does not work with 6 Plus and Alpine ida-x100 Returns USB error Alpine support told me operating system can not be upgraded to solve this problem (such as attaching a USB thumb drive with an update) [ JAMES S Mar 25, 2015 ]
I play music through this cable every day. It's the same cable that comes with your Apple but shorter. [ Lonny Mar 25, 2015 ]
We don't show this cable as being compatible. However, you should be able to use the 30-pin connector that came with the receiver and 30-pin to lightning adapter. [ Jeff Dec 04, 2014 ] Staff
