Make your older powered speaker system with that 30-pin dock useful again with the CableJive dockBoss5. This handy adapter plugs into your dock's 30-pin connector, and lets you recharge and play almost any portable device through your system.

The dockBoss5 also features a stereo minijack input. Plug the provided stereo minijack cable into your device's headphone jack, then into to the dockBoss5. Now enjoy your music. The adapter also features a USB recharging port. Through it, you can recharge most portable devices.
NOTE: Recharging function may not work on very early docks using 12V Firewire charging.

dockBoss5: The Cable Jive dockBoss5 is an adapter that converts 30-pin iPod dock stations into a universal charge station with audio output. The dockBoss5 is compatible with any 30-pin iPod dock system and all portable audio devices with a micro-USB connector and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Connectivity: The Cable Jive dockBoss5 consists of a 30-pin to USB/3.5mm adapter, 39" microUSB-to-USB cable, and a 39" stereo minijack audio cable.
- Dock Adapter: The 30-pin to USB/3.5mm adapter plugs into your 30-pin iPod dock system and converts the 30-pin dock connector into a USB port and 3.5mm minijack.
- USB Charging Cable: The microUSB-to-USB cable plugs from the 30-pin to USB/3.5mm adapter to your compatible smartphone's microUSB connector in order to charge your smartphone's battery.
- Audio Cable: The stereo minijack audio cable plugs into the 30-pin to USB/3.5mm adapter and the headphone jack on your compatible smartphone for audio playback.
Note: Your iPod 30-pin dock system must output a 5V charge in order to charge your smartphone's battery.
Remote Compatible: The dockBoss5 is even designed to pass-through the commands from your iPod 30-pin dock's remote control in order to pause, forward, or rewind the music on your compatible smartphone device.
Incompatible Systems: The dockBoss5 is compatible with many 30-pin iPod docking stations, including systems from Bose, iHome, JBL, and other popular brands.
