Our take on the Dual SL113A by Crutchfield's Dave Delamere
11-pin cable for select Android smartphones
Dual's SL113A 3-foot cable connects your Android phone to select receivers equipped with rear-panel HDMI and USB inputs. The cable's HDMI and USB connections plug into your receiver's rear inputs, while the 11-pin connector plugs into your Android. The USB connection charges your smartphone, while the HDMI connection displays your smartphone's screen on the receiver's display. Warranty: 60 days.
Compatibility note: The rear-panel HDMI and USB inputs on the receiver cannot be more than 3" apart due to the design of the cable.

Dual SL113A Reviews
Average Customer Review(s):
Thanks for submitting your review
Micro-USB 11-Pin to HDMI/USB Cable: The Dual SL113A is a micro-USB 11-pin to HDMI/USB cable which allows you to connect your MHL-enabled Android smartphone device with a 11-pin microUSB port (such as the Galaxy S3/S4/S5 or Galaxy Note II/III/IV) to your home and car audio/video components equipped with an HDMI input and USB type-A port. Through its full-size HDMI connector, the SL113A cable supports 1080p video and 2ch audio. The SL113A will also charge your MHL-enabled Android smartphone via its USB type-A connector. Because the USB connector pig-tails from the HDMI connector, your home or car audio component's HDMI and USB input must be less than 3" apart. The total length of the cable is 3'.

Yes, it will. It worked with mine when I bought this accessory a few years ago. [ J. Mitchell Feb 12, 2018 ]
I don't see any issue coming from leaving the HDMI plugged in, disconnecting the USB cable and then plugging in your USB thumb drive into the USB port. Just make sure that the USB drive has music files that the A/V component can recognize and play. HTH! My Bio: http://www.crutchfield.com/Support/Bio.aspx?bio=101 [ Paul Dec 04, 2017 ] Staff

The cable works fine. There really isn't that much data transfer. It just mirrors the phone screen, you don't control the phone from the screen. Hope that helps [ Martin Jul 10, 2015 ]
