Polk Audio's Signature Series speakers are designed to look great and sound even better. The series includes floor-standing, center channel, and bookshelf speakers so you can create a complete stereo or surround sound system. The Signature Series take cues from Polk Audio's past, while adding some cool new features.

Polk has replaced their traditional silk-dome tweeter with a new material called Terylene, which produces clear, detailed highs and plays up to 40,000 Hz, earning the Signature Series a "High-Res Certified" rating. You can find this tweeter in all of the speakers in the Signature lineup.

Polk fans will notice the inclusion of their famous Power Port. The Power Port uses a specially designed cone to focus the flow of air in and out of the port, reducing air turbulence and allowing the speaker to play more efficiently and produce up to 3Db more bass. All Signature Series speakers use this port design, and Polk cleverly built a little guard into the backs of some of the smaller speakers, so you can't block the port when you place the speakers near a wall.

There are three tower speaker options. The S60 is the biggest of the group, and it features a 1" tweeter as well as three 6-1/2" drivers for huge home theater sound. The S55 tower speaker features two 6.5" drivers, and the S50 is the smallest of the group - it features two 5.25" drivers. You'll find the Power Port in all models is at the bottom. Dual binding posts on the back give you the option of bi-amping or bi-wiring, and the magnetic grilles give you a sleek look for your home theater setup.

There are two center channel options. First is the S30, which features a pair of 5-1/4" drivers, the 1" tweeter, and a Power Port. It's designed to give you clear vocals in a home theater setup. The more versatile option is the S35, which is really slim and works well on your TV stand. It's also designed to hang on the wall, which you can do horizontally as a traditional center channel, or vertically as a left and right stereo speaker. The S35 features six 3" woofers, the same 1" Terylene tweeter, and a Power Port.

There are three bookshelf speaker options. The S20 bookshelf speakers feature a 1" tweeter and a 6.5" driver. Like all Signature Series speakers, these speakers also feature durable butyl rubber surrounds and magnetic grilles. These are the largest bookshelf speakers in the Signature line. They're great for larger rooms. The S15s feature a 1" tweeter and a 5.25" driver, and the S10s feature the same 1" tweeter with a 4" driver.

We like the fact that Polk gives you serious bang for your buck with their new Signature Series line. It sounds great, and looks great in any setup. If you have any questions, please give Crutchfield a call.
