Practical packing
The system features two speakers and a mixer which pack into a single package with luggage-style wheels to let you roll the system into place. The mixer unit includes storage space for cords, microphones, and other supplies. Two 15' speaker cables are included, giving you plenty of room to place the speakers. You also get two speaker stands to raise the speakers up so they fire over the crowd. The best news – the speaker stands also pack away in the mixer enclosure, so you carry the entire PA in one trip!
600 watts and powerful effects
The Escort 6000's 600 watts of amplification (300 watts per channel) give you enough power to cut through the background noise of a crowded classroom, church, or club. The mixer features 31 digital effects including reverb, delay, chorus, and enhancer settings. You'll find the 7-band graphic equalizer with its LED feedback indicators incredibly handy for getting rid of the squeals that can ruin a show.
Nine mixer channels
Three-band tone controls on each of the nine mixer channels give you superior sound-shaping ability. In particular, the "Mid-Morph" midrange control removes lower midrange muddiness when lowered, but boosts upper midrange clarity when raised. Seven combination 1/4" and XLR inputs supply signal to the mixer, with additional inputs for RCA and 3.5mm cables and a USB port to play back audio files from a memory stick. The mixer also includes Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to stream music over the system from your Bluetooth-enabled devices.
Heavy-duty 10" woofer
Each lightweight speaker uses a heavy-duty 10" woofer to handle the bottom end, while the highs are covered by a piezo tweeter. The monitor output supplies signal for powered monitor speakers, and a subwoofer output connects to a powered subwoofer in case you're playing to a larger room. This versatile system gives you plenty of options to let you dial in exactly the sound you want.

Features
Overview: The Peavey Escort 6000 is an all-in-one portable PA system, which includes two speakers and a 600 watt powered mixer. The entire system fits together for easy transport on the built-in luggage-style wheels. The system comes with 16.5' speaker wires and a pair of speaker stands. Two storage compartments (6.5" x 7.5" x 3.5") with foam padding are included for microphones, cables, and other accessories. The Escort 6000 is recommended for musicians, DJs, churches, and schools.
Powered Mixer: The Escort 6000 includes a 9-channel powered mixer with 7 combination XLR-1/4" inputs. Channels 8 and 9 serve as media channels, with stereo RCA and stereo 3.5mm inputs on Channel 8, and a Type A USB input and Bluetooth on Channel 9. Each of the individual channels has a 3-band EQ, while the mixer has a 7-band Graphic EQ for all channels. The mixer has left and right 1/4" speaker outputs, plus 1/4" Monitor and Subwoofer (crossed over at 100Hz) line level outs. You can individually select any of the 8 channels to send to the monitor output. The powered mixer is permanently attached to the bottom of the carrying case.
EQs: Channels 1-7 have a 3-band EQ with High (+/- 15dB at 12 kHz), Low (+/- 15dB at 80 Hz), and Mid-Morph. When turned counterclockwise, the Mid-Morph EQ cuts at 250 Hz to reduce frequencies that muddy the sound. When turned clockwise, it boosts at 4 kHz to add intelligibility to vocals. The Media Channels (channel 8 and 9) have a 3-band EQ with +/- 15dB adjustments at 12 kHz, 450 Hz, and 80 Hz. The full system 7-band Graphic EQ has slide controls with a range of + or - 12dB for the following bands: 80Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz, 4kHz, and 10kHz.
Feedback Locating System: The Graphic EQ is equipped with a Feedback Locating System (FLS). When feedback occurs, the corresponding LED of the frequency closest to the frequency that is feeding back will illuminate over the slider to be adjusted. You should slowly bring the corresponding slider down until the feedback is gone. The LED will remain illuminated for a few seconds after the feedback is eliminated.
Effects: The mixer offers a built-in digital effects processor with 31 presets. You can choose from 15 reverbs (plate, hall, room), vocal enhancers, 8 delay effects, and 5 chorus effects. A 1/4" input is provided for a footswitch to defeat the effects on all channels.
Speakers: The Escort 6000 includes two 2-way speakers with a 10" woofer and a piezoelectric horn tweeter. The speakers have a molded polypropylene enclosure that fits onto the top of the carrying case for easy transport. A 1/4" speaker input is provided on the front for connecting the speaker wire. Two pole mount cups are molded into the bottom of the enclosure, a 3/4" diameter cup for the included speaker stands, and a standard 1-3/8" (36mm) cup for optional speaker stands.
Accessories: Included with the Escort 6000 are two folding speaker stands, two 16.5' speaker wires, and a power cord. An optional stand is available from Peavey for the Escort mixer (item #00496340).
