I always enjoy trying out Bang & Olufsen speakers. I've come to expect them to incorporate premium materials into a stylish design, and to deliver sterling sound quality. The Beoplay P6 deliveres on all counts. This is one substantially built portable Bluetooth speaker. When I auditioned it recently, I experienced beautifully detailed 360° sound. Its smooth polymer and aluminum casing was both pleasing to the eye and to the touch. And with 16 hours of battery life — well. Let's just say I gave the P6 a very long and thorough tryout both at home and in the office.
High-performance sound
The Beoplay P6 features two 1-1/2" full-range drivers and a 4” woofer for full, firm bass. Each driver is powered by its own Class D amplifier, delivering clean, accurate sound, even at high volume levels. It also works exceptionally well at low volumes. Sophisticated electronics ensure well-balanced 360° sound, whether the P6 is placed near a wall or in an open space.
A built-in omni-directional microphone lets you use the P6 for clear, hands-free calls.

To get the full benefit of the Beoplay P6, download the free control app from the Apple® app store or Google Play. The app guides you through the simple setup process and serves as the speaker's remote. It also lets you adjust the EQ settings, and even pair two Beoplay P6s for stereo sound.

The Beoplay P6 features a tough polymer shell that's both dust- and water-resistant. The speakers are protected by a smooth, pearl-blasted aluminum grille. A durable leather strap provides an easy way to carry your Beoplay P6.

Features
Built-In Bluetooth: The BeoPlay P6 offers built-in Bluetooth 4.2 with support for wireless music streaming (A2DP), hands-free communication (HFP), and access to your devices digital assistant (like Siri or Google Assistant). Multiple devices (including smartphones, tablets, computer, and laptops) can be paired with the BeoPlay P6, but only one can be used at a time. Once paired, the speaker system will automatically re-connect to the last device used when in wireless range (33').
- Bluetooth Music Streaming (A2DP): With support for Bluetooth A2DP wireless audio streaming, you'll be able to stream stored music and music apps from your Bluetooth source device to the BeoPlay P6 speaker system. You can the speakers built-in omni-directional microphone and Siri (for iPhone) or Google Assistant (for Android) to control playback of your music. You'll continue to use your compatible Bluetooth-enabled device to control music playback functions and view song/artist information.
- Hands-Free Communication (HFP): BeoPlay P6 has a built-in omni-directional microphone and mic button which allows you to answer and end calls, as well as dial out using voice recognition (through Siri for iPhone or Google Assistant for Android). When there is an incoming call, your music will be paused and the callers voice will be heard through the Bluetooth speaker, while you carry on your side of the conversation through the built-in microphone. Some phone functions will still need to be done from your smartphone.
True360 Band & Olufsen Signature Sound: The BeoPlay P6 delivers True360 Bang & Olufsen Signature Sound through its two 1.5" full-range drivers powered by a 30W x 2ch Class D amplifier and one 4" midbass woofer powered by a 36W Class D amplifier. The speaker system produces a frequency range of 55 to 20,000 Hz.
Rugged Housing: The BeoPlay P6 combines a polymer housing with a pearl-blasted aluminum grill to form a strong protective shell for the Bluetooth speaker. Splash and dust resistant (IP54) the BeoPlay P6 is designed to take its fair share of bumps and scrapes while still protecting the delicate drivers and electronics inside.

You won't believe the sound that comes from this little box. Crisp clean highs and a decent amount of lows. The volume range is more than adequate for any environment. I would highly recommend this speaker.
