Garmin Approach® G10
Handheld golf GPS covers over 40,000 courses worldwide
Our take on the Garmin Approach® G10 by Crutchfield's Dominic DeVito
A portable caddy that fits on your belt
Garmin's compact Approach G10 golf GPS can go with you nearly anywhere, so you can feel confident when stepping on to any of its over 40,000 preloaded courses. It shows you yardages to the back, front, and middle of the green, as well as hazards on each hole. And you won't have to pay anything extra to keep its course data up to date.
One cool clip-on
The Approach G10 boasts a waterpoof housing that'll protect it from the elements, while the 1.3" square display offers a bright, clear view of important course views and stats. It shows you everything in monochrome, and you can switch to a negative display if that suits your fancy. And the rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 15 hours of playing time on a single charge. The built-in clip lets you pack it on your belt, or you can keep it in your pocket if you choose.
Designed to help
The Approach G10 offers convenient buttons for selecting menu items. The Green View display shows you the true shape and layout of the green, even if you're behind it. You can manually reposition the pin to today's location to enhance your shot's accuracy.
Paper scorecards are inconvenient and wasteful. The Approach G10 counts your strokes and tracks your personal stats per round so you can get an overview of your game, including how far you hit with each club. Most scoring features are also printable from your home computer. The Approach G10 also packs a round timer and odometer.
Connect with your community
Garmin Connect lets you upload scorecards and club data to a personalized account online for comprehensive analysis and sharing with friends. You can view your overall stats, stats from one round, or stats on one course. Your friends with Garmin Connect accounts can check out your scores and you can track their progress as well.

When your round is completed, you can upload your scorecard to Garmin Connect using the Garmin Express application.
Garmin Connect: You can keep track of your golf game using Garmin Connect, an online community created for users of Garmin sports devices. Why did you buy this?
Just play a lot of golf and decided it was time to help myself. [ Ken Sep 19, 2018 ]
Have a Garmin watch, however i do not like wearing a watch when I play. I tried a Bushnell Neo but it has to many problems and their service is awfull and I just gave up with them. Back to Garmin with great reviews. [ Richard May 08, 2017 ]
