Install them before the drywall goes up to mark the speaker locations for your builder, and you won't need to cut holes later. The metal wings attach to studs and joists via screws, staples, or nails.

Overview: The Klipsch IK-650-W installation kit offers increased mounting flexibility for all of Klipsch residential in-wall speakers that employ a 6.5" woofer. This installation kit also fits Klipsch's Contractor Series CS-650-W and CS-652-W in-wall speakers. This installation kit design incorporates two color-coded brackets for easy speaker size identification. The kit also comes with four perforated metal wings that easily fasten to the studs via screws, staples or nails. Ribbed for increased rigidity, these wings enable a kit to span up to 24 inches easily. Painted white for easy marking and placement, these metal wings will fold around the edge of the studs if necessary.
