Overview: The Garmin vívofit jr. is a water-resistant activity tracker designed for children, ages 4-9. The vívofit jr. features a one-piece stretch band that kids can slip on or off. The companion vívofit jr. app, available for Android and iOS devices, allows parents to track the kids' activities, responsibilities, and sleep. The vívofit jr. weighs less than an ounce, comes in a choice of three vibrant colors. As a bonus, the box doubles as a piggy bank for earned activity rewards.

Wrist Band: The vívofit jr.'s flexible silicone band is designed to fit most children ages 4 to 9. It has a circumference of 5.4" The device can be removed from the device for cleaning or changing the battery. If a larger wrist band is needed, the vívofit jr. will fit any of the Garmin vívofit 3 bands.

Activities: The Garmin vívofit jr. keeps track of your child's activity level throughout the day and displays the results on the 0.39" x 0.39" liquid crystal display with a resolution of 64 x 64 pixels. You can view at a glance your daily step count and the percentage of your daily step goal, and the distance you have traveled. If worn at night, the vívofit jr. monitors your rest, including total hours of sleep, periods of movement, and periods of restful sleep. The vívofit jr.'s memory stores up to 4 weeks of 24/7 activity data. You should sync the device with your phone or home computer periodically to clear the memory.

vívofit jr. App: The vívofit jr. application lets you track your children's daily activities, responsibilities, and sleep from your Apple or Android smart device. From the app, you can view individual profiles for each child (with a vívofit jr.), and their progress toward step, activity, and chore completion. As a motivator, the app features a fun adventure trail that progresses every day as they meet goals. The children can earn virtual coins for completing tasks and can cash them in for virtual rewards. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and requires iOS 9.1 or later. It also works with smartphones and tablets running Android 4.4 and up.

Move IQ: The vívofit jr.'s Move IQ technology recognizes from your movements the different activities you perform. Whether your child is walking, running, biking, or swimming, the device automatically recognizes when you change your activity.

Move Bar: To remind your child to keep moving, vívofit jr. displays the Move Bar and gives an audible alert after one hour of inactivity. Additional segments of the Move Bar appear after every 15 minutes of inactivity. Walking a short distance will reset the Move Bar.

Water Resistance: The vívofit jr. has a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, which means your child can wear the device in the rain and wet weather, and can even bathe or swim with it. The device also has a wide operating temperature range of 14° to 140°F.

Batteries: The vívofit jr. is powered by one user-replaceable CR1632 coin cell battery with an estimated life of approximately one year.
