Overview: The K&M Model 259 Short Stand is a telescoping microphone stand designed for low-level applications such as miking people that are seated. Vertically, the stand can be adjusted from 16.7" up to 29.5" using the tensioning knob in the base and the twist-lock on the stand. The boom-arm has two tensioning knobs and can range in length from 17.2" when fully retracted to 29.5" when fully extended and is terminated in a standard 3/8" threaded end. The boom angle can quickly and easily be adjusted with the included "t-bar" locking-handle and the base is a folding tripod design that collapses for transport and storage.
