The GAIA III isolator feet give you better sound by reducing vibrations and acoustic distortions.

A stable foundation for your speakers

IsoAcoustics knows that small details matter when you're trying to squeeze every drop of performance out of your high-end loudspeakers — and the GAIA IIIs can help. These stainless steel isolator feet replace the existing screw-in feet of your floor-standing speakers. They give you more consistent performance and better sound by reducing vibrations and other acoustic distortions.

How do they work?

The GAIA IIIs isolate a floor-standing speaker from its mounting surface. This eliminates the transfer of energy from the speaker to surrounding surfaces, which means you'll hear clearer, more transparent sound. Think of it like speaker "flotation" — similar to how a car's shock absorbers work.

Easily change your speaker angle

You can adjust each GAIA III's height, which allows you to raise the front or back of the speaker. This lets you make sure that the speaker's tweeter is pointed directly at your ears for the best performance.

Note: This package includes four isolator feet for one floor-standing speaker — you will need to purchase two sets for a pair of floor-standing speakers.

GAIA I Isolator Feet: Isolating speakers to mitigate coupling is critical, but attenuating reflecting vibration coming back from the hard supporting surface and resisting off-axis oscillations delivers great acoustic accuracy and focus. When a speaker is placed on a hard surface, secondary internal reflections result. Any artifacts of this smear that is similar in the two channels is perceived to be in the center, causing the sound stage to collapse. IsoAcoustics' GAIA I isolators eliminate this smear resulting in a larger and more natural 3-dimensional sound stage.

Note: This package includes 4 isolator feet for one floor-standing speaker. You will need to purchase two GAIA I(s) for a pair of floor-standing speakers.

Compatibility: The IsoAcoustics GAIA I is designed for a wide variety of floor-standing speakers weighing up to 70 lbs. The GAIA I replaces the existing screw-in feet of your floor-standing speakers. It comes with M8, M6 and 1/4-20 hardware to thread into the bottom of your floor-standing speaker. The GAIA I measures 1.6875" in diameter and 1.75" tall. The GAIA I are adjustable allowing you to angle the front or back of the tower speaker.

IsoAcoustics Patented Design: The GAIA I isolation feet incorporate IsoAcoustics' patented design principles to deliver extraordinary acoustic results. GAIA I provides a high degree of isolation while resisting lateral movement and oscillations to maintain alignment with the listening position. Internal reflections from the hard-supporting surface are attenuated resulting in greater sound clarity and openness.

Machined Metal Housing: The GAIA I isolators are finished in an elegant machined dark chrome metal housing. High-quality metal construction incorporating IsoAcoutics' design philosophy deliver extraordinary acoustic results.

Simple Installation: Remove your floor-standing speaker's existing threaded feet and install the GAIA I isolators in place of them (M8, M6, & 1/4-20 hardware included). Optimal results are heard by installing the GAIA II isolation feet with the logo facing the listening position, or rotated 180-degrees, to align the isolators with the speaker's motive forces. Now place the tower speaker into position as the GAIA I isolators will adhere to the supporting surface.

Customer Q&A

Crutchfield asked
Why did you buy this?

IsoAcoustics (in communication with me about compatibility with my with Bowers & Wilkins 704 Floor Speakers) recommended GAIA III and also the Aperta 200. [ Karen  Jan 09, 2018 ]
to replace existing spikes on my Energy Connoisseur speakers to help reduce resonances on wooden flooring [ Norman  Jan 02, 2018 ]

1 question already asked

Yes, three ways that I know of. The REL T-zero sub I have these on is not perfectly square, and is uneven, so I've had to think this out. (These IsoAcoustics feta are fabulous products, BTW) 1) There are 2 nuts on the bolt of each foot. They can theoretically be tightened together, or separately, at different positions to match the gap you have. I did not have luck with this, as my gap was small. 2) You can screw the nuts all the way down on each foot, and make them extra tight on corners where shorter gaps are needed, and snug-but-not-tight on the corners wiry larger gaps are needed. This has worked for my purposes so far. 3) I have bought some AudioQuest self-adhesive sorbothane in a sheet to make a little "washer" to place on one of the longer gaps. That should work... or use another material like a cheap ready-made rubber washer. This is my back-up option, and have no doubt it would work also with a washer of the correct thickness. [ Heath R.  Dec 09, 2017 ]
They are individually adjustable. [ James  Dec 09, 2017 ]
Mike - Sorry, but no, there isn't a way to adjust the height of the GAIA III isopods. You could possibly not screw them into the base of the speaker all the way but that wouldn't give you much more height. More importantly they aren't designed for that and might lose their isolating properties. Suggest you contact IsoAcoustics and ask for recommendation. I had asked them for recommendations for my speakers and they were helpful. [ Michael  Dec 08, 2017 ]
Yes! The threaded post can vary as to how far in or out you lock it into place, but I wouldn't think you have more than about a quarter of an inch "wiggle room" because you want to be sure the post is in far enough for stability reasons. [ TERREL  Dec 08, 2017 ]
Yes, each isolation device has a threaded screw with thin knurled nuts that are adjustable up to about 1/2" on each one. [ Garrett  Dec 08, 2017 ]
